I think wazza got them
ah ok
I think wazza got them
I have a weird obsession with i5s, so I wasn't that interested in getting an 2700K. Except for the hexacore i7s. But even then I would disable hyperthreading and one of the cores just to have one of the world's only 5 core CPU.
Also many thanks to OcUK and MSI for replacing my MPower. I have missed this board so much.
Mobo works, CPU bsods under load at stock clocks using intelburntest. Might be able to get an RMA.
Stunning build
Wow, that's really unlucky. I would be
I'm guessing a reinstall of windows would be a good start considering all the messing around you have had to do with motherboard changes and driver installs. See if you then get any errors and go from there.
Do you know would would really finish this build off?
Replace those 2 SSD's with these.
I was going to consider them - but was reluctant to discuss it as I thought it was a retailer exclusive to a different website.
Away in Edinburgh for a few days so will do reinstall and testing when I get back.
Also had a complete shut off last night after a few hours of crysis 3. I think the CPU overheated as my GPU heated the water up quite a bit and I am fairly sure that my CPU block isn't working well at all as it has a massive temperature delta compared to my GPU/water temp. For example when stressing my CPU at stock it was reaching 55C+ which is absurd for a 95 TDP part on 600mm of rad space. I have noticed the water doesn't heat up and fan speeds make very little difference.
I am going to order a temp probe for my reservoir though my free delivery isn't working grrrr
I was sure about the free delivery but contacted 5UB about it who confirmed that there was sometimes bugs in the system. All sorted now though.
Gonna get this and plug into into the spare "in" port on my pump/res to get some nice delta readings.
