I can't defend against rushes.

Won 3 of the 5 practise games. The 2 I lost were due to rushes. They just had an obscene amount of Roaches and Zealots. In the second game I only had 3 Zealots and a Sentry out, and the guy attacked me with at least 10 Zealots.

Why didn't I think of that. I have a terrible habit of waiting until my minerals have been depleted before moving onto my next expansion. I need to learn to multitask better.

Depends. I like to roll in with deployed siege tanks to take care of base defences.

Half a dozen or so tend to make a hell of a mess.

Oh right, not sure how to help you there as I almost always play Terran.

In SC1 I used to send in two or three fully loaded Reavers to take out bunkers/colonies/photon cannons.

What's your game name?

Yeah I really just need to work on my macro. my micro isn't too bad considering I've just started playing. I know to bring low health units to the back, focus fire low health units, etc. I need to work on controlling individual groups of units so I can make use of their abilities too.

i was in a match and started to get the upper hand and then was dropped from battlenet for no reason , anybody else had this happen ? . exited sc2 and restarted and logged in fine , just wondered why this happened . it proberly would have been my 3rd victory as well

I've seen a few people mention similar things happening to them on TL.net. Cynics suggest it's a force disconnect hack so the other player 'wins'.

Not sure myself, but I haven't looked at the SC2 Beta forums for a while, probably more info on there.

One of my replays of a placement match is missing, the opponent's name doesn't show up either. I gg'ed and left the game normally though.
