**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

I experienced the brunt of 3 gate blink stalker yesterday on the ladder and found it very difficult to counter. Used Infestor ling in the end.

Not 6-7 minute ones that are well controlled :P. If you are playing standard then you will have only a handful of lings when he moves out, and barring a lucky OL flyby you wont know his plan for sure which gives you the time it takes for him to get from his base to yours to prepare.

Very much this. Scouting is a bit of a pain, but I wonder if you can get away with easing off the droning if there's no sign of an expansion from toss. Problem is ultimately identifying where the gas+chrono is going. VRs/blink/templar tech/1base colossi/immortals, not played much high level zerg so I couldnt really say much more about methods for getting it, but I imagine that if you can get a good look at unit composition you might be able to deduce where the gas is going.

Also I hear there's this unit called the roach which hard-counters protoss :o

(j/k ;))

Just played a game and had my bum kicked, figured i would watch the replay and noticed that the other guy had perdect SCVs timing throughout the game even during the big fight during which he killed me.

My question is:

a) Assuming these are allowed can someone point me towards where i can get a reliable script that does this for me?

b) If its not allowed who can i report him to? What are the chances of him being punished or do people just not care?

edit - as its not that clear what im asking, when i refer to perfect SCV timing I mean as soon as one SCV finished another starts buildings on each of his three command centers.

Maybe your opponent just hit '4sss' every however many seconds?

Well they're not technically allowed on battle.net afaik if that's what you mean.

I would suggest posting the replay on here, get a second opinion. Maybe your opponent was cheating, maybe not. Either way generally the best response isnt to find a way to cheat yourself ;)

What level are we talking?

Hi Alex, just heading out but will post replay when i get back. Havn't played in a while but think im high plat / low diamond.

I like to think my SCV timing is good but he didnt miss one all game and never had them Qed (somthing i am guilty of sometimes!).

waso it's a bit jolty. The mouse cursor moves smoothly but in-game animations are screwed. It's literally like a slideshow for me?

There's a fuzzing noise too :(
