The new units, mining efficiency changes, no documents BOs and a iffy metagame don't help at all.

Give it a while, it'll stabilize.
 
Well I've reached rank 1 diamond league and still manage to win games I really shouldn't. Just now, I tried to cannon a zerg expanding to his 3rd base before natural and it failed... Then still managed to do a really wonky late immortal sentry all in which he had even scouted... In WoL, I was highish diamond and would have never succeeded in winning that game

I think a lot of them just jumped up there really early on and haven't played much.
 
and I can't even get out of gold. Not sure what the **** to do vs zerg. I just get rolled by the a move if I mech, and banes keep ****ing me if I bio, need to figure out a build ;_;

I've found TvZ really easy since no-one is using Infestors anymore even though the few times I've come against them they've caused me some trouble.

Vipers are the worst thing against Mech and Ultra rape bio.

I still open Hellion/Banshee most of the time. Hellion/Reaper is also viable or Reaper/WM or Hellion/Banshee and 1 round of WMs.

This - I usually get rolled as Terran against Zerg if it goes passed about 10/12 mins as my mid/late game is just awful.

But tried a really terrible sketchy widowmine build and drop - worked pretty well. Dropping WM into the mineral line causes chaos indeed!
 
Masters congrats! That was my hope that as there's more garbage at the bottom even I should be able to make masters before they all disappear again.

Theory not quite working so far though, promoted from gold to plat after about 4 games but still high plat after today.
 
Well I started playing SC2 about 6 months ago, got into the silver league, and took some time off before the expansions release

Just done all my ranking matches for HotS and I've just been placed into the gold league. Should be interesting.

If any one wants to play my in game and give me some tips, my battletag is Slappyboom#2850
 
Starcraft-HOTS runs like *rubbish*

Hey guys,
I have 7970 crossfire and a 2600k cpu @4.8ghz but both my GPU in game only hit 60% tops resulting in drops in fps. Apparantly this is a common problem for people so I was wondering if anyone has this problem and/or has fixed it? I like to run RadeonPro but it wont work right either as dynamic vsync just dosnt work. I changed the launcher to Starcraft 2 but no framecap or vsync. Anyone please?? :(
