Yep. They extended the percentage of Gold leaguers at the start of it so there are now less silver players.

I had a feeling they had fudged the numbers because i got placed into gold on the back of a 4-3 run after placements. Anyway i am kicking ass in gold so expecting to get out next season which was always my aim in sc2. Not sure what to do after.....

Might just be me but does any one else hate Rushes in this game e.g. first 3mins boom million zerglings or something i like to build a mass army and make the map go boom

You can stop them though, just need to scout harder and not macro so hard when they are building up their army. If you fend it off, you should be ahead.

I won 4 games in a row after getting placed in gold and got promoted to plat, so it might not take as long as you think!

Haven't played enough to get out of plat yet though, at least that's my excuse

So easy to defend 6 pools and the like. As a protoss I always FFE vs zerg and once I see an early pool I just drop a cannon in my mineral line and they're screwed.

They then do herp derp "aggression" with oracles/warp prisms while maxing on 2 bases

Why is it even possible to max on 2 bases? You needed 4 to do it in BW!

I never noticed that playing unranked matches can place you against ladder opponents for their points. My last unranked win, my opponent lost -13 points.

Horrible day yesterday - lost just about every match in 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 - just awful. Days like that make you want to pack up and stop playing.

Need to scout better, and expand faster - watching the replays i give away so much map control it's ridiculous.

Still highlight of the day was a widow mine drop into the mineral line that took out 24 drones with 3 mines!
