APM doesnt say much, it's always been a mickey mouse figure. Time supply capped, workers built per game on average and average unspent resources can tell a lot about a player.

Does anyone here use camera hotkeys? I've only noticed that pro players use them and are constantly bouncing around with them, but I just double tap my control groups when I want to move to my army etc. Should I learn to use them more efficiently, and where should I be putting them? Do you have to set camera positions everytime you start a game?

As Zerg it is absolutely critical, as the other races it is still pretty important for base management/defense though.

I use camera hotkeys. shift+F1,F2,F3,F4 and F5 to create them and then F1,F2,F3,F4 and F5 to jump between them. I use them to jump around my bases usually. And yes you have to set them everytime you start but it just becomes a normal thing, when I start I always just ctrl+4 then shift+f1.

Yep. Mechanical keyboards are generally just more comfortable to use for long periods, it won't improve your gameplay.

All switches are possible to use, I personally like reds and browns the best. It's all personal preference so get a test bag and find what you

Yep. Camera hotkeys are a key to improving.

Yes you have to set them every game, it's easy if you change the hotkeys to F1-F5.

Hotkey your CCs. Hotkey your production by type of building or altogether and tab through them.

Yep, I'm sloppy as ****, mainly due to playing on the fly without refined build orders and getting supply blocked early, or usually when they come with 400 widow mines/hellions/marins at 4 minutes

To be fair I was horrendous at build orders in WoL, basically 15 hatch and allow the imagination to flow.
