You have to be gold or under.
Siege tanks are terrible against Protoss unless used in the very early game in a timing attack.
The majority of Protoss units are great against mech and siege lines. Immortals, stalker and chargelots decimate them.
exactly the only way i have seen them work is the terran had about 8-9 tanks in seige in his base and I was chargelot archon. Took the switch to collosas to break it in the end but he was too static and he was on one base and I had managed to get to 4

. I've been really focusing on my macro recently and the improvement is amazing. I used to get supply blocked very often, but I've started keeping an SCV (or two in mid and late game) on hotkey 3 which is tasked purely with building supply depots. When I'm doing my usual round of cycling through each group of production buildings to see if any are idle (I do this every few seconds), I quickly flick to my supply SCV and check what he's up to. This forces me to then check my supply count, and then build a depot if I need to. Even though I'm not actually doing anything different to what I did before, simply having that SCV in with my cycle of checks is enough of a reminder that I pretty much never supply block myself now
haven't got a standard strat for this. Usually I 1 rax expo into marine tank viking play but I'm not too happy with it. It makes for dull games and is kinda vulnerable early on. Anyone got suggestions?
