Oscar Pistorius thread

The biggest reason I have to think that he is guilty, is the multiple shots. If he shot his wife once, maybe I could see that it was manslaughter. However, multiple shots combined with screaming just doesn't make sense of his argument that he didn't know it wasn't an intruder. The first shot can be explained as panic and a reaction, the others make no sense to me.

Can't say I've really followed the case that well, but he's guilty in my opinion, although I would agree that this argument doesn't prove that it was murder.

"Gets away with it" meaning you think he's guilty but they will let him off? As opposed to being innocent.

And what the heck at those possible sentences! He could get longer in prison for owning some .38 bullets than for killing someone .

" several witnesses gave evidence " the judge just said she found them unreliable. Well that's it he got off.

Judge saying shots were in quick succession, doesn't believe witnesses heard her scream, believes his version that he screamed when he didn't see her in bedroom.....

I'm literally speechless if he gets away with it. He seemed well dodgy with changing his story about 5 times and his fake emotions, such as being caught laughing and joking when he thought the camera wasn't on him for ex and in tears when it was.

There's probaby more chance of England winning the next World Cup than OP being found guilty but even if he does it will probably be house arrest or something cushy like that.

If he was a poor nobody he'd be doing life already.

Uh oh Oscar,

"Judge Masipa: "[Mr Pistorius] stated that if he wanted to shoot the intruder, he would have shot higher up and more in the direction where the opening of the door would be to the far right of the door and at chest height. I pause to state that this... is inconsistent with someone who shot without thinking. I shall revert to this later in my judgement."
