You don't think he's been punished enough already, what with losing his girlfriend and having to endure this awful trial?
Oh I'm sure it was a horrible ordeal not having 4 bullets shot in his body and dying while screaming for his life.
You don't think he's been punished enough already, what with losing his girlfriend and having to endure this awful trial?

The worst thing is.,it really is an open and shut case.
You can try and spin it anyway you like, he has murdered someone and is most likely going to get away with it.
This is what we are supposed to believe happened:
He wakes up.
Hears a noise in the bathroom.
Takes his gun.
With no warning at all fires four shots through the door.
Is surprised to find its his girlfriend in there.
Much wailing and gnashing of teeth ensues.
What's wrong with that picture?
Here's a clue, EVERYTHING.
The problem is with this story is anything outside of that completely ludicrous scenario incriminates him as a murderer.
Did he check for his girlfriend?
No.
Did he warn whoever was in the toilet he was going to fire?
No.
Did he call the police or security?
No.
Did he leave the house and call for help?
No.
Did he do anything a sane and rational human being would do who wasn't intent on killing that person in the bathroom?
No.
