what do people think he'll get? suspended sentence, or actual jail time?
Haha it's amazing that his charity work should even come into consideration as balancing out his crimes!To be fair, he's got 100+ pages of examples of charity work he's done, so that should count as sentence credit.... right?
Plus let's not forget his therapist's testimony, he's already been punished enough.
Jimmy Saville ran **** loads of marathons for charity I reckon by South African law he'd have still had a few child sex offences in hand before he went to jail
I'm surprised his charity work is even being discussed as part of the process.

^26 miles per abused child. that seems about right to me.
He simply must serve time in a proper prison. Otherwise the entire justice system is a farce.
I know, all joking aside it's utterly sickening.
So we've had;
'He's suffered enough'
'He's done a lot of charity work'
And today;
'How can we say Pistorius will not be a victim of gang rape?'
The whole '3 years house arrest' being pushed by the defense is nothing short of a disgrace.
Would he have his legs in prison? Or would there be fear he could detach and use as a weapon?
He sounds a bit like a kids action figure, the box would have big writing boasting "Fully detachable legs double as weapons!!!".
He wouldn't be allowed to be around children under 36 months though.
