** OSX Yosemite **

PB6 released last night, very small file downloads so I'm guessing they are tweaks rather than big changes/updates.
 
I ain't making that mistake again. Mavericks stopped XBMC working on my mini, and they didn't patch it for months! Ended up restoring it back to 10.8.
 
Been patiently waiting for Yosemite so I can do a complete fresh install, but having read a few posts around here and on macrumours, even with PB7 and the so called Gold candidates, I think i'll hold off for a week or so. :p
 
I was thinking of a fresh install on my iMac, as I've just been updating the OS since I bought it 18 months ago so it could probably do with it.
Whats the best way of doing that though?
 
Yes, I did consider that too :) I wanted to remove some of my old software and some odd configuration oddities that I can't seem to remove manually though!
 
Apparently if you have the GM build the full public update is available under Purchases in App Store. It's a slightly incremented build.
 
Actually I may not bother now, just thinking of my Bootcamp partition and all my other software that's perfectly setup. Meh, I'll leave as is and just do a clear out of the carp that I've accumulated.
