You can't even trust video anymore now that tech such as Deepfakes has been developed. Provide a system with enough sample input imagery material and you can do some craaaaazy **** to substitute imagery into videos. NSFW warning if you decide to google it - of course one of the primary uses when first explored is porn.

I suppose it did result in a lot of rather super, natural bits ending up in the vids though :D
 
Put a stack of four or five coins, poker chips or similar on top of the upturned glass to show whether the glass is doing the pulling or the fingers are doing the pushing. :)

I don't think it works like that. I believe it would always require a person's finger if a spirit is to be summoned. They do say that the bad souls, the people that did heinous crimes, inhabit the closest spirit plane to earth and those are the ones that are easily contacted, such as in the case where I turned the lights back on.

You put your fingers on top of the stack. If the glass is moving itself then the bottom of the stack will move before the top. If the fingers are moving the glass then the top of the stack will move first.
 
I woke up with a terrible hangover one morning, walked into the bathroom and seen this evil, ugly pale ghost in the mirror! It still haunts me to this day
 
I've used a Ouija on 3 occassions during various parties. Never had anything happen with any of them at all. Mind you, I dont believe in ghosts, or spirits, or souls or an afterlife, I believe we are nothing more than a frog or a cow or a shark, just another animal on the planet that lives, dies and then rots (or burns depending upon the method of disposal) so maybe that has something to do with it.
 
I don't believe in any of this crap and neither does a friend of mine. He's a very robust bloke and will fight anyone but has just moved out of a house because it scared the crap out of him. He is convinced there is something unexplained and nasty happening there.

Despite all the pee taking he won't budge or take any ridicule so I'm inclined to believe him, although I don't necessarily think it's supernatural.
