I like the idea, but would maybe then be a bit too easy to get the ones you want, so maybe you get 1 random re-roll, but have a 50% chance of then losing the skin?

As a Soldier main, I love to play with Zen on my team. When he drops the purple on someone, I can kill them before they have chance to react some times.

I think the nicer approach might be letting you trade in multiple (event) legendaries for another one of your choice, which would include tracking how many duplicate legendaries you have. So for instance if you've gotten 2 duplicate event legendaries plus an event legendary for a character you don't like you could trade those 3 for a legendary of your choice...

That said we're approaching all this with the idea that they system is meant to be good for the players, which it absolutely isn't and Blizzard would never want it to be remotely fair like that - it's designed to lure you into reaching for your wallet after all

Had an annoying game last night; off season comp, on Oasis... didn't get off to a great start on the first round and after a minute or two a guy on our team started complaining and then left the game... At least it wasn't a "real" comp game I suppose, but a 5 v 6 is never much fun so I waited out the 2-minute timer until the game told me it was safe to leave... the result - banned from comp for 10 minutes?!? Why? I don't think that's how it used to work; are we now getting punished even further when some idiot quits the match?
 
Sounds like a bug rufus, after the 2 minute timer you should be able to leave without penalty. Comp in the off season is an utter troll fest like QP except you get to play both sides of a map or BO5 on KOTH. I've spent the off season spamming Orisa / Reaper / Mcree in QP so I feel safer adding them to my comp pool. I don't think I'll be playing Mcree or Reaper (i know hes not meta but he's handy vs a diving fat monkey) but I'd be tempted to Orisa on certain maps, her shorter CD shield is really handy.
 
I've been playing quite a bit of Orisa too and I think she has a lot of potential, you just have to (in my opinion) not play her like Rein or Hog, or actually any of the other tanks that stay up-front and take a beatiing... more like you want to be in the middle-back of your team, popping the shield over your dps' heads and being ready to pull back first when the enemy team dive you... I find her better on attack as you slowly creep the shield forwards...

Reaper may not be "in the meta" but I find him pretty useful still - don't forget that his other strength (besides dealing with Winston) is being one of the most lethal duelists in the game... as long as you're good with positioning/cover and knowing when to get out you can absolutely destroy the enemy team's squishies and there's not a huge amount they can do about it
 
Pretty much every game in the end of the season for me was vs some slightly deranked (maybe decay maybe just slipped) god tracer in a dive comp. I ended on 3716 down from just under 3800. A lot of the time we could deal with the winston but those tracers :/ Either that or some 1 trick GM / High Masters Mercy, so every game turned into hunt the mercy but don't kill them too quickly or they will just respawn and res for 5. Nothing feels like being kicked in the balls more than being 1m away from a Gibraltar attack end push and Mercy ressing 5 from inside spawn after you picked her too soon.

I am playing Zen, debuff and I can kill myself.
 
I think I'll put more time into Zen then, have had quite a few good games using him. I love the mechanics of flinging healing and debuff balls at people.

I also love dinging people in the head with the orbs, so satisfying.

I mainly play soldier, Zen and rein. But also like orisa and symmetra.

Love the way 99% of QP games have a Genji and a Hanzo, 90% have a Genji, Hanzo and a mcree.
 
Played it when it released but haven't played for a while. Just started playing again in the last few weeks and finished the season with a horrible rating of about 1100.

Always keen to play with others though who want to try and play as a team and not just pick junkrat and moan there is no healer or tank. My Bnet is dredgos#1259
 
The new moon map is on the PTR. Unfortunately, it's normal mavity except for a tiny little section outside the base. Amusingly, you can just go out the airlock without a spacesuit and you're fine.
 
Toinghts goal, climb to at least 2300 SR after the 10 placement matches, I'm such a pants player lol. My career high is 2750 SR.

Try tracer, hitting a tank in the head with her manic spray of bullets is behind satisfying.

I've been recently going back to my main of Widow, not a lot of people like that pick but if I'm not doing good I always switch out after my first ult. I've been trying Hanzo for a bit and I like him, but the moment you do good, the enemy team just focus you so hard.

I also really like Mercy, not played her much but she's a lot of fun and really can carry a team that's pushing hard. So might stay as her during placement matches just to avoid the slur of abuse for picking a DPS.
 
Has S5 started already? Will be making an effort to play more comp this season, only really done placements and the odd match since S2. I still love lucio, he's my go to healer but been getting better with Zen, Soldier, D.Va and Rein so I fell comfortable enough moving around. Want to learn Orisa as I think she could be pretty useful, a few QP games I was having such fun using her orb to pull snipers out of position/off the ledge.

Level 57 and not terrible, i sometimes get play of the game so that should obviously moisten your baguettes. Never play Hanzo.
 
I want to get into some competitive this weekend but I don't want to go it alone, can only imagine it would be infinitely better with a few people on comms with a half decent comp.

I still play zenyatta 99% of the time since most people don't pick a healer in quick play and I still really enjoy him.
 
I think I'm going to wait a week before doing placements this season... let the bulk of the super keen tryhard pro players and smurfs and the newbies who bought the game and just hit lvl25 get through theirs right away and then do placements once the dust settles!

LVL 26 that would be me. Tried 2 games so far one win one defeat.
