I'm on old drivers...not sure which ones but my driver details are below. 17.30 I guess? I have definitely had them for a while and never had a single crash until today where I had two in an hour.

I played over 500 hours of overwatch never had a single crash until today and just had my second one within the last hour.
I did update my drivers today from an old one to 17.7.2

Got this game recently after some friends talked me in to it and the game just doesn't feel right after playing FPS like UT, like there is lag hidden under the surface. Something is just off.
That and I just can't see what all the hype was about, there's just...nothing new. Should have been free to play.

Maybe it's because I'm solo queuing this season, but I've dropped down to just above 2,100 or so. Maybe I'm just not playing as well. How does match making work for 3 on 3? I used to win about 70%, but recently it's probably as low as 25%...

I've settled a little lower than previously too this season... personally I think it's because a lot of the more casual (and likely less skilled) players have gotten fed up and/or bored and stopped playing, which means the remaining playerbase are the more serious players (who are likely to be better at the game)

Playing on US servers, finding it IMPOSSIBLE to climb out of sub 2k, some matches are great, some are an absolute steam roll (not in my favour). But I just don't seem to be getting enough winning games.
As for match finding, easily over a minute most days. Think I'm going to skip the next couple of seasons.
If you 'main dps' and cant climb,stop playing dps your trash,hard truth but needs to be told,learn to tank or support.DPS is legit the easiest role in the game.
Fed up of outfragging and out damaging 4 dps team comps who cant comprehend when a switch could change/win a game,but will stick to widow/hanzo/junkrat cause 'its all i can play' this is at diamond ffs
Comp is so ****** atm,I had a dude last nite in my game 3200sr feed like **** for both halfs as widow then phrah, legit awful... 15% winrate this season yet.. diamond? how?
Play orisa on ecorts/2cp,if your better than your SR bracket you will easily out DPS your team.On koth play dva/zarya depending on teamcomp
Edit2: Lucio is amazing on koth at that level gotts go for boops tho xD

Funnily enough, since my post I've been on a winning run, just a touch below 2300 right now. Is it me or are SR adjmenst getting smaller too? I'm sure after some games I've only gained/lost around 13 points. In the past I thought it was closer to 30?

I don't have anyone to play with. I don't have a clue what I'm doing. I'm about level 13 and have played exclusively on my own against bots.
So because of this I've stuck to tanks and defence characters. I use Winston, Reinhardt and Junk Rat mostly as tank, for defence I mostly just use Bastion if available.
I have about 2 hours of play in Mercy who is my most played character, this was because I reasoned being a noob I should stay back and heal. At first it went well but recently in solo queuing I've found everyone does their own thing and I end up getting picked off. Human players definitely target Mercy quickly and now the AI does so I've dropped her for now.
I just struggle to find players who talk and would be willing to help a team mate through. I'm a good player at games once I get going. I just get frustrated at team games when nobody plays as a team and eventually we just get wasted

I assume you're playing in Quick Play though at your level, which you're not really going to get much team play. We've had this discussion many times already, so please lets not go through it again, but QP is mainly used to practise or just much about. Maybe try some 3 on 3? Not that the team play will necessarily be any better, but the games mean a little more perhaps. They are all over quite quick though, so the downside is you don't get a lot of practise at characters in that time.

Exactly this, I've mostly hit 2600 most seasons! this season I can't get past 2370! Just because I end up with toxic players! insta lock Hanzo/widow or Genji, Then they turn around and say they good! but their highest SR is 2500 with 400hrs playing Hanzo
So annoying!
However we did have a 6 stack the other night and won 5 out of 6 games! was decent!

If you group like that then, of course, you're not going to get people flaming each other...
EDIT: been playing a few games today and I have to say I'm really starting to loathe the game. It is so frustrating when people 'instalock' dps characters and proceed to be utterly terrible at DPS. I always fill the group with whatever is needed but it gets frustrating in a team based shooter when people don't cooperate with the team.

Recently started playing this again after maybe a year away and man am i enjoying it and loving D.va and actually playing really well as her.

Everyone just instalocks a Hanzo or Widow or genji, Yet they have over 200+ hours on them but stuck in 1900-2050 rank! yeah they suck!
