Zarya + Rein combo being strong... sounds like the meta has come full circle! Adding Brigitte to this combo certainly makes it more potent. You said that you have learned a lot this season... any notable tips that you can share with us plebs in Gold?
For the brigitte the first thing to learn is the one shot tracer combo, it does the maximum amount of burst damage. You shield bash into melee quickly cancelled in to whip shot, this does like 150 damage in less than second and this is the go to combo anytime you attack someone.
Second thing with brig is hug your tanks just stick side by side with rein or zarya and it's really hard for anyone to kill you, just don't do your own thing just stay with them all times.
In general the things I learned are stuff you probably know but I just seen how important they are this season like staying grouped and only attack when it's a winable situation. For example if 2 of your team mates died before the fight has even started just wait for them to respawn. Or if half your team dies quickly in big fight just die quickly and regroup back at spawn.
The other thing seems really important is combo ults, it's so easy to take a capture point with a grav hanzo ult. Also I learned with ults not to use them if your losing a fight, it seems much better if your losing a fight just to die regroup and go back in with 6 men then ult when your all alive ready to take full advantage of it.
Also I learned how important character switching is and what to swap to what situations,
For example if im playing brig on attack and we can't get near first point and we have 3 heals I would swap the brig to a rein or monkey for some extra pushing power.
But if we were attcking and only had 2 heals and it clearly wasn't working I would swap the brig for a mercy or Lucio.
The other thing with character switching is contesting in overtime I started switching to lucio or dva in overtime just to get the contest.
I learned a lot about positioning like never overextending also pulling back when you are losing a fight and pushing in when you are winning a fight.
Also if you have someone overextended on your team sometimes it's better to just leave him to die than die yourself trying to help them.
So it's all basic stuff really it's just much clearer to me now what to do in what situation.
