first pc game i bought in awhile very excited
I used to be a competitive tf2 player so hoping to be pretty decent at this i seemed to do well in beta at least. Seems similar to tf2 in terms of high ground and flanking is very important as well as attacking as a group and focusing certain classes.

Well this will be short.
Been to the cinema tonight to see the launch "event" going on at cinema's. On the door there was a choice between a Tracer or Black Widow themed drinks container which had an inflatable tube branded with Coca-Cola esports inside. The actual screening was just all the shorts and some origin video's all of which can be watched on, Youtube anyway. Then there was pre-filmed panel with the developers waffling on about making the game.

Yeah, they had the ones in NA yesterday/this morning.
I saw everyone complaining about how bad it was with basically nothing new, even the exclusive premiere had been released on YouTube earlier that day, the interview may have been new, can't remember, but it didn't provide much/any new info from what I remember. Then the "sweet swag" was just a cheap Tracer/Widowmaker cup that didn't even include a drink when the event was hosted/sponsored by Coke
.Is the drinks container at least worth keeping...?

Bit disappointed to hear this has microtransactions for the cases that contain cosmetic items etc. Just makes it feel a bit cheap imo! Of course we dont have to buy them but just seeing it in game rubs me the wrong way

It's better than the other possibility - having paid for DLC containing new heroes and/or maps... that would really suck...
I don't see how it is a problem. You earn cases for free, you also earn in game crefits that you can use to buy any cosmetic Item you want. So if there is something u really like the look of, you don't have to wait for Rnjesus. You can save up and get it. No real benifits for spending real money to get cases which is how it should be
to be honest if it means they support it for years to come im all for it.
Look at Diablo released in 2012. expansion in 13. still getting tons of free upgrades & updates. in 2016
to many developers do that. Look at COD
