Overwatch

Brilliant game. Ok granted with a noob team its frustrating as they sometimes they pick duplicate characters!

But when played properly its brilliant fun. I think when ranked mode comes out you will see a lot more serious games.

Don't you mean the team pick going:

Widow, Widow, Hanzo, Hanzo, Soldier 76, --

*sigh*

The only real antidote is a full team of friends, which luckily I have :p

2 of some characters are ok, eg
2 tracers - fine
2 reins - Great!
2 soilders - ok!
2 junkrats - death! :)

but 2 windowmakers, hanzos meis not so much

Had a quick play of it last night, having gone into it blind so to speak, as I never played the beta.

Had a lot of fun in the 3 or 4 rounds. Had a cracking match as Bastion that got me a Play of the Game, although I felt dirty as it was such an easy Hero to use :p

Had some fun with D.Va, and then tried Genji and McCree but couldn't hit anything with those.

Had a little blast this morning. I seem to be the only person who ever plays Lucio! Didn't come across another person using him in the beta testing either.

No disrespect meant, if that's the case, I imagine you had limited exposure to the Beta?

Lucio is one of the "must have" classes in any team composition, especially in competitive.

I main Lucio a lot of the time... in fact I basically seem to rotate between Lucio, Road Hog (******* love Road Hog) and Pharah... Occasionally switch it up with other classes if the team needs it...

30-40 hours. I've literally not seen anyone else play Lucio at all.

I think this is a game where you really need to be comfortable with at least 5-6 different characters rather than sticking with just one.

Sometimes the situation changes during a match and you just need to adapt to it as best as possible.

Last night I selected Genji to attack but then the 6th player also picked him. Rather than have 2 of us I switched to valkerie whilst my team were attacking and then switched to Mei for defense, and then Bastion for the very end of the game (defending last capture point) which came right down to the wire.

Anybody else make the mistake of pre-ordering from game but actually received their copy? Assumed it would be a key on e-mail but instead turns out its a physical copy (people still want those?) and i am still waiting on it. Not impressed.

I preordered from amazon but same problem. I don't think they even tried to ship until today although it technical went on sale on the 23rd a day before the game goes live. hear on reddit of some people getting upgraded to the better packages at amazon because they ran out of the £30 ones or something so sent them a message to see what the deal is. yup having stock issues, they'll send a message when its dispatched but if i don't hear back from them in the next 48 hours to message them again.... don't know how you screw up pre orders like this, don't sell people what you don't have. my orders been upgraded to ships today though (6 in the evening and not shipped yet) so maybe i'll get it in a day or 2
