Overwatch

i knew that was hero to hero chat but this is soo Cool!

This why blizzard games are brillant, as we was setting up defense & running to the point on dorado

Mei to Mercy: Mercy you have not aged one bit

Mercy to Mei: You haven't aged either

Mei to Mercy: what is your secret to looking so young?

Mercy to Mei: Chrogensis

Mei to Mercy: well is definitely working out for you

Mercy to Mei: maybe i can show you my lab sometime

Mei to Mercy: Time to give them a frosty reception

Just to clarify - I'm moaning about team comp here but in game I'm not one of those people bleating "not 2 widows ffs noobs, pls change" - I usually say something a little more positive/polite, like:

"2 genjis might be okay, but maybe one of you can switch to a tank if we start losing really badly"

"guys we need to attack as one group, try to hold back so we can team up and push together"

etc. as in not trying to be a total jerk telling people off, however it's pointless because no-one listens either way. I get that some people just want to have some casual fun but what exactly is fun about picking a terrible team-comp and then getting completely destroyed game after game and never learning?

I'd personally say Lucio is better than Mercy...

Zenyatta isn't really a dedicated healer of sorts and is somewhere between damage and healing...

Symmetra has no healing and only really shines on defense for her teleporter...

Thank's for the write up! I'll stick with Lucio and maybe try Zenyatta if there's another healer :D

I tend to aim for Lucio first if there is more than one target :)

Didn't personally get on very well with Symmetra when I played as her, but a well placed Teleporter can really help your respawned teammates get back in to the fray quickly. She also needs to be using her turrets at all times, as even though they aren't powerful they are hard to spot and do chip away at health.

its okay moaning about balanced teams and how people play this and that, however all i see is people demanding other people change so they can have a healer or such, hoping they have someone flexible on the team yet the people who know the correct team balance are unwilling to change themselves then moan about losing afterwards.
not only that not a single person ever protects the healer and people wonder why no one wants to play support classes.

This can be true, but swapping from support -> tank or vice versa usually achieves nothing when you have 3 Hanzos because "cool ninjas innit".

What's really annoying is when you play as a healer, Mercy in my case but the game doesn't seem to reward or acknowledge you for playing that role.

I have at the end of the game where you vote for best player. That was Lucio in my case but should be same for all healers.

You get voted at end of game
you get XP for every x heals
you get xp for medals in healing
you can get play of the game (lifesaver) revive

what more do you want?:p

Hi guys, loving the game just as I did the beta, unfortunately none of my gaming mates seem to be interested so I'm keen to hook up with some English speaking players.

Feel free to add me in battle.net

Yeah I got a fair few potg with healer class in the beta.

Although the potg system is broken - so much TRIPE gets shown. Would like to know how they select it.

Think about how complicated it must be to code detection of what constitutes a POTG though... I think although frustrating sometimes it's forgivable that it can bit a bit underwhelming or predictable

am playing this on my acer x34.. 16:9 doesnt really bother me now ive tried it at first id thought id hate it..
