Check out the Icy Veins guides also, they provide some good information with pros, cons, game play tips and how they match up to other heroes (in terms of counters).

Having fun with this game.Takes me back to TF2 and unreal torment days.
Is good for quick plays, but there a fair bit to learn and given the way it looks you think it would be simple game. But it's not. Each hero has it skills to learn and if you take you eye of the game for a seconds you can lose very quickly.
Yeah, I think it's one of the more common mistakes people make when playing (to be expected with new players though) is too not switch heroes during a game to counter the opposition when your current line up isn't working. That and doing a conga line death chain 1 by 1 into the other team after dying.
just had the same. was against a team of 5 snipers, 2 hanzo's and 3 widows with a mercy to res then. so what did we do? we went ape on them XD 5 winstons and a reinhardt. lets see them keep us off the point with that comp XDThe game is all about counters.
I played in a team yesterday where for a laugh we chose 4 Tolbjorns and a healer.
We destroyed the opposition as they simply did nothin to counter. The next game we did the same but they altered their hero selection and pretty much wiped us often until we changed.
Not sure how the arrival of this game passed me by, but tempted to pick it up, seems the sort of thing I'd enjoy.
I seem to have missed most of the good deals though and figure I may as well just grab the standard version direct from Blizzard. Am I right in thinking I'd just be missing out on a few skins or is there any other reason I need the original edition. I don't play any other Blizzard games these days so not bothered about the extras for other games.
If you get the standard edition, all you're missing out on are a handful of skins (which aren't particularly unique as everyone and their grandmother has them) and some extra fluff for other Blizzard games (which are only worth it if you play those games).
Most of the more interesting skins and stuff are earned in-game anyway.
Really enjoying this game, some balancing issues.
What's the matter with McRee?
11 levels in and I still haven't come across any coins, are they rare or something?
