Overwatch

in that case rusuf
use genji reflect to reflect bastion dmg to reinhardt. shield down
then uise junkrat to fire over the sheild to hit them from behind - both dead

people seem to forget with

zarya
junkrat
windowmaker spider

the higher you aim the further it fires

take kingrow for example

zarya can hit their spawn door from A point

I think Bastion does need tweaking and nerfed a little; Reinhardt however I feel is OK. His shield does absorb a lot of damage but it's the size of a barn door and is easily brought down by focused fire, especially with people like Junkrat and Pharah. Them two together though are just brutal. It's like adding 2,000 health to Bastion who already does absurb damage. Add in Mercy damage boosting him and it's even worse.

thats the over thing people forget

mercy buff is very good on junkrat bastion, makes them seem more op than they are

Real time reflections of game objects/assets on any surface that supports it, such as puddles and metal surfaces while also keeping relative distance from the surface causing the reflection. I'd imagine the difference between low and epic is how many things are being reflected, such as environment, characters, lighting, weapon fire, particle effects, etc.

Thanks I was in test range and thought I would compare settings. Between off and epic I didn't see anything.

Makes sense, although once a strategy involves someone else working with you in close co-ordination it's pretty tough in a game with randoms!

Just read an interesting suggestion in a discussion on /r/overwatch which made me wonder... What if Blizzard made it so the 4 cards at the end of the game don't show which player or which team they were on... So you just get presented with 4 decent stats and vote and then after a set amount of time the vote stops and it reveals who the 4 players were... Would add a little more interest and stop people just forcibly voting for their own team-mates regardless of the relative impressiveness

I think they need to add multiple stats to the cards at the end, i had an epic game with lucio but barely got any votes because it showed my kills instead. i had over 12k healing, 30 eliminations and spent most the game on fire but it decided to show my 30 eliminations and kill streak of 10.

seems to happen a lot, like playing as pharah and it mentions all your direct hits rather than the fact you got 30 kills and 1 death etc

Exactly this. I had a storming game as Lucio, lots of eliminations, heaps of heals, several environmental kills, dropped my ultimate at key times and swung the match. My card at the end mentioned Objective Time and I got no votes. Not that it really matters, but it's still lol. Oh and of course Bastion got the POTD for camping a doorway :)

But in 99.9% of cases your team couldn't care less if you did good or not, they're just voting for you out of pure saltiness...

I do wonder why people don't really use voice chat, seems weird as it's such an amusing part of other similar games (even with randoms). Doesn't help that push-to-talk is bound to something really stupid by default (' I think) - I rebound it so I can use it easily but nobody ever responds to me

id say 1 out 6 games has 1 person on voice,

but you have to start chatting to make them chat.. no one watch whos in chat

btw /list is your friend

allows u to report players quickly :)

The 'play of the game' needs tweaking more than the voting thing. Sometimes it borks so badly.

Had 1 game where the 'play of the game' was a Widowmaker who got last hits on 2 people in a not so important location.
Also had a game last night where the 'play of the game' was me on Mei defending a point with Blizzard, distracting 4 of them by throwing up a wall behind them and standing in front of them with Cryo Stasis thingy active, then killing a couple while my team cleaned up.
The highlight part started from mid-way through the Cryo Stasis and completely missed the rather important ultimate part of the play ><

Had a proper rage moment earlier, sick and tired of playing support, so decided to play other characters, didn't end well, in the end I switched back to support. :o

I know it's early days, but I think Symmetra could do with a little bit of tweaking, don't think there's anything wrong with her gun or sentries. But she seems like the most situational charcter to me, purely defence and only at the beginning of the map, when you have time to setup a proper turret defence and when the teleporter is worthwhile.

I dunno, she can also shield every member of the team which is a handy little buff, and her primary weapon isn't too bad in close quarters.

Some well placed turrets are annoying as hell.

Will I like overwatch? I'm not really a huge online multiplayer fan but I'm hankering for some online shooty action. The last online shooty game I liked enough to put maybe 40 hours into was Destiny. I don't really like CS:GO and I've never played TF2. I'm not the sort of person who puts thousands of hours into a game. Would I like Overwatch? Or should I just play some more destiny and save myself £40.

Team Fortress 2 is free to play so it might be worth trying it out first so you can get an idea of the type of game it'll be like. It's quite similar in terms of classes and how they do different rolls (like healing, front line, support, etc). They also have a similar graphics style with similar map objectives (escorts, hold the point, etc.) and are semi-twitchy. If you like it then I'd definitely look into Overwatch.

weakest character in the game for me, yeah the weapons got good damage at close range but you have to be so close to use it and half the people you get that close to will kick your ass because of the low health. I mean, mei, dva, roadhog, reinhardt, reaper, genji, mcree and a couple others stomp you close range and everyone else basically has the advantage at medium/long range. in a game about counters symmetra basically gets countered by everyone.

she only has the element of surprise when you rush into a room and find 5-6 turrets in there but that takes like 40 seconds to set up and 5 seconds to destroy.

If they increased her primarys range and decreased the cd time for the turrets I think she'd be much more usable. as it is now your basically hoping the team can carry you at the start until you get your teleporter alt and if they don't carry you and you lose the first objective early then you're better of switching

1. her shield lasts for the entire game if that character stays alive its 35hp shield that regens after x amount of time without dmg. so it could be hundreds of HP per game per hero

2. Close range shes very dangerous, but you should always be around your sentries as they slow any enemy = you outrun them & kill them with Ease

3. her right click does a ton of damage but you need to use it around corners, charge it up peek & fire right in their face.

4. Her teleporter wins MANY games

shes fine.
