Could do with some help guys, went to 3.6 got into windows and then got a BSOD, clocked it back to 3.4 and 3.2 but after post all I'm getting is a black screen where windows would normally load :(

Changed all settings back to default and still nothing is my windows install borked?

edit - I'm guessing it is as my XP disc loads up fine, going to try a repair first then a complete install if I get no joy....argh!

ok doing that now...

My heads in the bin today! Fired the PC back up after clearing the cmos...nothing on the display, thought oh cack I've killed my gfx card, yup you guessed it forgot to plug the power back into it lmao.

Going to clock back to 3.4 and leave it today I think!

Cheers for the help CyZMyAssBaby, will be back tomorrow for >3.4 :D

Tried for 3.6 again and managed to get into windows with CPU volts at 1.4125 in bios but failed primed, increased this to 1.4250 and again failed prime, increased to 1.45 and got a BSOD as soon as windows loaded. So I'm back at 3.4Ghz >8hours prime stable, I think I might have found the limit of this chip?

not sure, but I'll look tonight when I get home from work, what's a good value to set if I do?

The PLL voltage is a key voltage to maintaining a stable FSB, will post link and info if can find it amongst my disorganized bookmarks. The original info came from extreme systems forums. W3bbo also posted about PLL on the forum not so long ago. The range used 1.5-1.7v. Although a sensible approch would be required ie a notch at a time. You can also raise your NB a notch and see if that offers stability.
