Path of Exile(diablo clone)

CWDTS has an internal cooldown of 250 ms, if it was higher maybe I'd agree, but no matter how you look at it, it's very clearly better to keep them low level to absorb a lot more damage over any boss encounter or clear.
Chip damage mitigation comes from other sources so I would have no need for minor damage reduction from it when I leech 5000/s, regen 1000/s and gain about 400 every time I block a hit
I don't really care about taking damage at all unless it's chunking off half my health in one hit. It all depends what your build needs, but yeah your health is pretty low so it's a good level for you right now

As a Cyclone Duelist, how much HP should I have? I have Max Life in all my gear so I'm guessing I need some from the skill tree?

Look to be getting something like 180% maximum life from the passive tree, and your life rolls on gear look at 70+ on all of them

Also, going back to what you were saying about CWDT and Steelskin uptime. While CWDT may only have a 250ms ICD, Steelskin has a 3 second CD (assuming no CDR) that doesn't start until AFTER the effect ends. So if you had your Steelskin up for some 5 seconds for example you're looking at a solid 8 seconds between casts

Yeah that's a good point with the SS CD.

I've got no idea where I'm going to get all that life from, will have a think on that. My rolls are around where you sugested

Honestly Duelist is probably my least used starting class (I tend to play marauder and shadow, occasionally witch) so I can't really say what your best options are for life on the passive tree off the top of my head, but the Scion life wheel is the usual obvious choice and you're probably pathing into the marauder are anyway and there's a lot of life in that part of the tree.
If you post a Path of Building code for your build here I can take a look at it after work (which is in another 7 whole hours)

Thanks, I've followed this guide

Could someone tell me what these types of gear are?

I thought they were Influenced items but having searched online their not listed as such. Pretty confused why they look different and have an animated background.

If you look to either side of the item's name when you highlight it it should have a symbol to show the influence type. At a glance these look to be fractured and synthesised items. Fractured will have an affix in brown which will remain on the item when crafting. For example getting a +2 to socketed gems fractured affix on an unset ring is good because you can craft the ring with no fear of that mod falling off it.
Synthesised items have a different implicit to what their base would usually have. A Two-Toned ring with 25% Chance to Avoid Elemental Ailments instead of the usual resistances for example

Great thanks for that explanation, I was wondering what was special about them. Seems their from a previous Synthesis League but are dropping from Heists currently.

@Frubeling got another item I forgot to check

What type is this one?

That's a Warlord influence.

Go to craftofexile.com and you can see what the various influences are and what modifiers you can get/craft/what will randomly drop on an item.

Select base type and influences (at the top after selecting the base types) the item has, and it will show you loads, then at the bottom it will show you all the different mods you can roll/craft/drop, what the item level is that's required to get it or craft it as well as the chance to roll it etc.
The symbols in the influences section on craftofexile will correspond to what's on the item banner for the item in-game (where it's item name is) so you can check against that if you're not sure.

It will also show you the 'tags' against that modifier, which is useful for Harvest/Delve crafting. e.g. attack, defence, chaos, fire etc.
The website can simulate lots of different crafting methods.

Thanks again, I've bookmarked that website.

Up to 33 challenges as of last night.

I'll be willing to pay an exalted orb to anyone who finds Heart of the Grove in a harvest or a boss in Delve if they allow me to have the kill

Once I hit 36 I'm going to set about destroying my gear with corruption altars

I usually get to about 16 - 18 just playing normally but a lot of them are literally impossible to finish unless you intentionally try to do them, this league is particularly easy as far as getting to 36. Just a little RNG gating on a few of the challenges as always though
I usually stick to Global 2 as far as chat and I'm almost always one of the top for challenges in there a couple of weeks in. Most players again just top out at 18 and have no interest in pushing them. I want that hideout though

Delve boss down, found one on of my own.
2 challenges to go

Ritual challenges complete
1 to go

Bought an Oshabi kill for 60c off a guy on the TFT discord
0 challenges to go. 36 attained, league finished

Just got to act 10 (noob) I'm having trouble withy the Heist's, any ideas/tactics?

I'm lvl 73 and I think i'm not DPS'ing enough to escape the packs, eventually I just get swamped, just got some 30% increase movement speed boots which should help. Been following a build guide:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wARPcb9bXnw&t=3324s,

I don't think my gear is amazing it's all SSF with some basic crafting on top I've done myself.

You don’t have to kill them, just leg it. Should be able to hold them off at any door opening choke points for a few seconds?
