Any recommendations for a starter build? I have played POE on and off for a few years but never really got into the theorycrafting as its a bit heavy for me so happy to follow a guide. The build I enjoyed the most was a triple herald elementalist Blade Vortex character a couple of years back (delve I think?) that I took to Uber Elder, but when the ascendencies changed it got nerfed into oblivion. I've also played spectral throw, ED/Contagion and toxic arrow chars in the past so something apart from those would be of interest.

I'm happy to play ranged, don't like glass cannon as I suck at dodging everything. I will play trade league so can be somewhat flexible.

My favourite league mechanics are generally those where quick kill/movement speed is needed - Incursion, Delve, Legion etc

Any suggestions appreciated!

How to people do it so quickly.......just managed to get through the queue, kill hilllock.....Player X is first to level 12, like 2 minutes later, Player x is first to level 13 :cry:
 
decided to jump back in this league.. but trying to follow league-starter builds can be confusing when they dont explain things
i do what a lot of people do and play a league, then skip a few and come back later but by that time ive forgotten a lot of the acronyms for skills etc which makes it hard to follow some guides
either that or they just lack information on what to grab while lvling

i do enjoy the game but it can be overwhelming for casual players

They definitely went all out for this launch and what a launch. Didn't have any DC's but some lag here and there, nothing unusual for PoE!

Hammered through to maps in one sitting but have to do life things as well so up to T5/T6 maps and starting to search for gears. Had horrible luck with gearing so far but one of my guildmates kindly gifted me my early maps unique weapon so I can at least shred things before they get too close to me(Playing Bane/ED).

Another full day today, should be in to late yellow/early red maps by the end of it. Gonna farm logbooks once I'm in red maps so I can craft my endgame staff. Seen a clip of one of the new bosses but stayed blind mostly, it looks intense.
