I really like :) I feel it flows naturally, it's just sad that in this last week it appears the group I played with has just imploded because three of them have had a big falling out :(

I have seen similar, in fact last night as I left town and the party picker showed to select members I had 4 Harims to select from (that's all we need the pessimistic ******* :p)

Hover over the encumbrance bar below the shared stash for a breakdown of the encumbrance penalty. With lower encumbrance you move a lot faster too.
You can list things by weight - makes a big difference. Beware rations, there must be an issue because they weigh 10lb each!

I also have 2 Amiris in the list, but fortunately only one headstrong lunatic in my group :)
 
Blimey working through the Season of Bloom episode was hard work and I came close to destroying my kingdom by getting distracted trying to get it's stats up, taking my eye off the ball trying to find the Goblin village and having to rush the last few elements as the game suddenly ramped up the Monster invasion and plague events :eek:
 
Had my kingdom destroyed. I know what happened but it doesn't give you a reason as to why. Couldn't do anything about it. Got to level 9 so now reloaded from level 6.
Lost half a Saturday.
 
Reading around; if you neglect the current "main" quest line the game gives you nudges to get on with it by ramping up negative invasion/plague events to force you to fix the source of the occurances, seems a bit like lazy GM-ing to me :p but I can understand it a little to stop you OPing your Kingdom before later game events occur.
 
I finally made it through Season of Bloom and the game crashed leaving the Shrine. Had to repeat the final three fights which were a nightmare!

Now waiting for Chapter 3 to start, or is it 4? I dunno. Either way, we're moments from level 10 and the characters feel plenty strong already. Steamrollered the Lonely Warrior who ruined me at 6th level!
 
Looks like I've got the dreaded bug with locating Amrag's tomb and also Linzi has disappeared from all locations (Throne Room and Inn) so I can't speak to her to progress another questline either :mad:

I've not seen a top hat anywhere! That said, I rarely go beyond Medium encumberance now. The sheer number of strength belts means I can carry loads.

Who are people using in their main group?

My character, a Cleric of Erastil (so he's a longbowman) as primary healer - which he's great at!
Valerie (built for AC - up to 33 - she's a real meat shield)
Amiri (built for killing!)
Nok Nok (his sneak damage is insane!)
Linzi (backup heals, Haste and bardic performances - 30-odd a day!)
Octavia (damage spells + sneak attack, and buffs)
 
My Character, Ranger with Bear (First ever AD&D character was a Ranger so the first time I play something new I always use a Ranger for the feels :p), Bear is pushed forward to be first to melee, good spec in Athletics and Nature Knowledge and at Level 12 is now an absolute beast with the bow.
Amiri for the Rage also specced Nature Knowledge
Tristan for Heals and utility damage also specced Religion Knowledge
Jubilost for them bombs and also specced World Knowledge and backup Arcane Knowledge
Linzi for the songs and Trickery backup also specced backup of various Knowledges
Octavia for sneak and Trickery also specced for Arcane Knowledge

I have the top hat and it is indeed useful.

After the last patch Linzi has returned to the throne room for me but it looks like locating Amrag's tomb is still broke :(
 
Myself as a Rogue
Valerie as a tank
Ekun as a ranged option (Dog helps as an extra damage dealer)
The rest are interchangeable depending on the quest (either cleric, Linzi or Jubilost and 1 other.
 
After finally getting the Amrag quest line to work by having to go back about 20 odd hours of play I've now got the broken Irovetti/Pitax questline.
I've defeated him but the final dialogue doesn't kick in and when leaving the scripts for the riot at the academy don't activate

I'm totally fed up with this, these are fundamental plot lines to the progression of the game and to have the game released with them not working/firing correctly is just bad form. I know there are many complicated/convoluted ways players can progress to chapter endings but when it's game a progression element it shouldn't make a difference it should override all other events. It's like a GM that's been so kiboshed by the players actions that they've completely lost the plot and can't be bothered to try anymore.

I'm going to have to give this a break and wait and see if it gets fixed properly in a couple of months because at the moment the bits that break game are to much after well over a hundred hours of play :(

Im with you on that, after watching Cohhcarnage on twitch i decided to stop at chapter 3 and wait for things to be fixed before continuing. so this weekend instead of this i started a new run through of DOS2 Definitive edition.
 
I decided to take a look at this on Friday and ended up spending my entire Sunday and most of yesterday playing it.

Am playing on Challenging to start with and First time through I opted for a Tower Shield specialist Which worked great when you have the coordinated defence feats with Valerie but I just found that there was no REAL way to hold agro so it worked for a few rounds of combat and then a squishy got splatted. I got to around level 3 before I thought screw this and started again.

I am now a 2Handed half-orc fighter which when you have Powerstrikes and Improved cleave is hilarious. Watching 3 enemies just die in a single swing does make me chuckle. I Have just done the stag lord quest line and reached level 5. I have to admit though, I am kind of bored and want to start again as a ranger style character.
 
I might take a break from my 2 weapon Rogue. It's fun teaming up with Nok Nok and obliterating everything and i love his comments but there are loads of other variations to play with.
Might recreate my Dwarf Fighter(weaponmaster)/Stalwart Defender from our weekly game and see how he does.

How are you finding 2 weapon characters? Everything I have read about them just screams not to do it due to the penalties
