PAYDAY 2

Same, I couldn't remember what skills I had, I put back what I thought I had before but I've lost walking/running speed. That was the main thing I liked on the skill tree.

Play the mission RATS for exp, have fun dont rush there is no end game :p

Thanks.

Will take me a while I think to get high level seems like it takes ages to get enough cash to buy a another gun lol.

Don't do this, Rats actually gives bad XP now.

The best way is to run GO Bank, with a good crew you can be done in under 9 minutes and earn 600K XP + stealth bonus for next heist.. Rats currently gives 300-400K and takes about 20-30 minutes.

Other good heists include Watchdogs, Hotline Miami and Big Bank you should rotate them to avoid getting the minus XP boosts and mix in some stealth missions for the 5/10/15% XP increase every now and again.

Well me and my crew are back after a few months off. We stopped playing in the late 80's due to boredom due to the lack of maps. Is it me or is Overkill mode a LOT harder then it previously was? We're being slaughtered doing certain missions - it doesn't help that useless AI John Wickes is currently gimped with 750 health vs 1600 of the normal bots either.

shortcut dlc unlocks like BF?

Bought payday 2 4copies in the sales

Played quite a few hours on it and is feeling quite grindy
In regards to unlocks etc

I want to just jump on and have fun with decent kit.

Is there DLC that unlocks guns to use straight away? Or does the DLC just give me more guns (not unlocked though) which I have to grind money to buy the guns in game?

To answer the question, the latter of the two options :p

The game is tremendous fun when playing with a group of people you know though!

Thanks! But that's a shame imo. In our group of friends they are not hardcore or PC gamers, time is important etc.

Hell even I'd rather have decent kit we only play 12 hours of
really fun coop than repeating the stuff again and again with slightly better kit each time anddrag it out till 90 hours

I think maybe I thought it was a campaign story line with 4 player coop.

^^ The game isn't that grindy though really... If you just want decent kit you can just level to lvl100 and then not bother with Infamy (Prestige)

Frankly though I'd say you have "decent enough" weapons and skills by the time you reach around ~lvl60 and starting from scratch you can get to that level in a pretty short space of time, maybe half a dozen heists

Finally got around to installing this the other day and enjoying it so far. My god it can be brutal though, even on Normal.

Bought my first gun (the SIG SG553 lookalike), and now I'm wondering if I should get a new pistol?

Infamy Update 2.0 is out for this now... haven't had a chance to look just yet myself but it sounds like a lot of changes!!!

Infamy now goes up to lvl 25 (XXV?) with 20 extra masks etc. and presumably a bunch more stuff to spend skill points on. The question is will this inject any new life into the game? The group I play with had sort of lost interest and started to get a bit fed up with the constant stream of DLC

The infamy update reworks the system a little bit but doesn't really add much other than extra grind and the usual extra masks and patterns and things.
