PC Game Pass (was Xbox Game Pass for PC)

I've been playing The Surge the past few evenings and have really got into it. So I was rather peeved to see that it's leaving Game Pass today according to MS.

I was looking forward to seeing more of this game after work today, but now it seems I'll have to find somewhere to buy it and hope I can transfer my save across.

That's really put me off the pass tbh. If I can invest time and get into something only for it to disappear before I'm done with it, that's a big negative.

the idea is that you buy it at 20% off. Really everything on there, apart from Xbox Studio games, are just an extended trial.

The Surge is one of the games on the EA Origin vault membership for 3.99 a month
 
There is an option on my Xbox home screen to receive some free gifts for my Ultimate sub, looks like it's;
  • 1 month EA Access (not the uber one the normal one)
  • 3 month Discord Nitro
  • 6 month Spotify
In all cases can't have used the premium versions before with your account, with Spotify you can get away with creating a new account and using a new payment method.

People on HUKD reported that the Discord Nitro sub also offered you a free 3 month game pass sub, which translates to an extra 2 months of ultimate for free :)

I'm fine with games coming and going, but they really should give some advanced warning of when they will be going. I'm not sure how long you've been playing it but I'm guessing you wouldn't have started if you'd known the date it was leaving up front.

Is it possible to get any of those gifts on PC? Have an Ultimate sub but don't have an xbox
 
I got the 6 month free spotify when I joined the PC only version of game pass. It appeared as a chat message in the game center (windows key and G). But I haven't seen any of the others.
 
Just wanna say I have been able to get 2 years game pass ultimate for just over £3 a month for a friend. This still works
 
Despite what was in the documentation at X019, Rage 2 is indeed on PC Game Pass tonight. Downloading... 44.6GB

1. Need to have an xbox account that is eligible for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate $1 for 3 months promotion. Most are. If you have used the promotion already it wont work. Would need a new account.
2. Buy two years (can do maximum of 3 if you want) xbox gold (can get for £38 a year for codes. Buy two) and add the 2 years gold to your xbox account. This step must be done before step 3.
3. Then Join the Game Pass Ultimate for $1 trial and it will convert your xbox gold time remaining to ultimate game pass
 
I've currently got a trial of Xbox Games Pass that expires in about a week. I just opened up the client and it prompted me with an upgrade offer. I can get 3 months of Ultimate for £1 which I thought sounded good. When I selected it I got the following message :

Does that mean they will charge me (only £1 I know) but just upgrade my last few days of regular XBOX live games pass?
