I think that's something else about how it changed my approach to games. I was kind of enjoying Hellblade. The set-up, the audio and visuals were really great. The combat was basic and repetitive, though, and I found the whole looking for patterns mechanic quite frustrating, BUT if I'd bought it on Steam I think I'd have played it through and probably thought reasonably well of it.
As it was, I'd also installed The Surge, West of Loathing, Undertale, Superhot, Battlechasers at the same time. Because they were all there and I'd gone a bit "kid in a sweet shop"! So when I reached a point where I'd been looking for three symbols for half an hour for the fifth time, I just played something else and I've not gone back to it.
I basically just started having so much fun in The Surge and West of Loathing that I didn't haveenough drive to go back to it.
I've never had so many games on my system at the same time that I'd kind of playing, but not sure if I'm going back to or not.
