PC Game Pass (was Xbox Game Pass for PC)

Could people suggest a decent game to download from gamepass please....so far i have

The outer worlds
Forza horizon 4
Gears 5

Is there any gems im missing? either online multiplayer or single player, i cant seem to see much on there thats any good lol

Didn’t realise all those were on there. Saving Horizon for the X, but Outer Wilds and Frostpunk are both on my play next list.

your list is out of date there. Metro exodus and prey are definitely no longer on there. Not sure tombraider is either....

Ahh, I havent kept up with which ones have since left the pass, not to worry though, the rest of the games on the list are more than enough to keep someone busy for a year :)

Interested in online multiplayer games, also single player games that dont look too dated, not really into rock hard games anymore and much prefer to enjoy the story etc than get frustrated these days, must be old age haha.

Dont really have a genre of game i stick to as like and willing to try any type of games if they are good, have loads of fps games at moment and do enjoy them, will try almost anything if i like the look of it though especially if its unique.

Do like rpgs, action, platform, almost anything as longs as it tickles my fancy lol

For some reason i cant seem to find much on there myself that i like the look of, not really into horror games though, hate the tense feeling they give me

I did a cheeky edit above and popped a long list in.

If you want an interesting single player game without delving in to horror, A Plague Tale gets a lot of recommendations. It's probably the next game I'll start. Pillars of Eternity is an excellent RPG (not a looker, but it's from Obsidian, isn't very old, and is very well rated). If you want something unique, try Sunset Overdrive. Personally, I loved that game. Also, Wasteland 3 only released a month or so ago to great reviews. Probably worth a go.

On the multiplayer side, I can't give many recommendations. I only really do a bit of co-op in Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Battletoads, Streets of Rage 4, etc. TBH I don't think the service has much on the competitive multiplayer front.

If you approach Game Pass (particularly the PC version) looking for "AAA" games that sold millions of copies, you'll be disappointed. There aren't that many of them. But there are loads of "hidden gems"; games that reviewed really well, but never really managed mainstream commercial success. If you're looking for "unique" games, then you shouldn't be struggling. Find something that looks intriguing and give it a chance.

One game to keep an eye on is Dragon quest.11 if you like RPGs. It is a JRPG, so may not seem to suite if your a western RPG fan. But dang it is largely an amazing game out in dec.
