*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

for the sake of saving a few quid - it's not worth it.

The game comes bundled with GPU's so there will be plenty of cheap keys about sooner or later.

You should think so but it has been bundled with GPU's for over 3 weeks and I only seen 3 appear on MM and they went quick.

With the new GPU's on the way people are holding off buying so not many keys are around.

7 days and I will find a Steam key for a fiver

Steam prices are so bad, this is an example of why I have never bought a game direct from steam. I just bought

The Raven Legacy of a Master Thief Deluxe Edition from g2a - £0.83 pence
Steam price for the same game digital deluxe edition - £24.99 !!!!!

I mean come on lol, 860+ games from keysites, 0 from steam

XCOM 2 (Pre-Order) inc. Resistance Warrior Pack DLC (Steam) £24.99 @ CDKeys

Comes with Resistance Warrior Pack DLC

Don't forget 5% FB discount code.

I honestly think grey market key sellers should be banned from this thread and this entire forum.

Everybody that buys a key from these places is screwing over the guys who made the game.

And also potentially receiving goods acquired with stolen cards, etc.

I honestly don't know why OcUK allows it.

Because the vast majority of keys aren't illegal or bought with stolen CC details, although that happens from time to time.

I take it you want humble bundles banned too as they 'screw over the guys who made it'

Best ban the MM while we're at it as people sell keys on there from promotions.

Ban steam sales too as the dev doesnt get full price.

Keep games at full price for eternity I say!

Where do the keys come from?

Best case scenario, stripped from boxed retail copies in BRIC countries, where prices are set much, much lower (or they'd never sell anything).

Worst case, bought as gifts with stolen cc details, then the region doesn't matter, but the key is highly likely to be revoked.

The other worst case is that you get a region locked game that only works in Brazil/Russia.

The fact that there are these "bad" possibilities - that only exist in on grey market sites, not Steam or the authorised resellers - should tell you all you need to know about the validity of these prices.

The Witcher 3 for example is about £20-£25 in all the legit places. How do you sell it at £12 and still make a profit? I wonder...

How dare you disrupt the flow of righteousness with your well presented points?

Do what you want, but don't kid yourself that a grey market site is supporting the developer.

I notice you guys are quite prepared to buy a £500 GPU, but not to buy a game at the price the developer is asking.

Go you.
