So then tell me what sites do you use, because I use 2 sites only. G2A and Kinguin, but clearly they don't cut it for you.

Authorised resellers.

GreenManGaming
Direct2Drive (or whatever it's called now)
GetGamesGo
Amazon sometimes
GamersGate

There are loads of them.

Steam is generally the most expensive place to buy anything outsdie of a sale.

Both G2A and Kinguin are grey market sites, not auth resellers.

Never bought games from any of those, will stick to the cheaper sites. Perfectly happy with GREY MARKET!

I did this:

Change your PC's region to Ukraine
Go to the windows 10 store on your app list and search for Rise of the Tomb Raider
Buy it with your credit card (you'll have to sign in with your microsoft account, or make a new one) and invent an address with a postcode matching the format Jono just posted
Stop or cancel the download and change your region back to UK

Not sure if you have to do the last step, but I did and it worked with the download almost finished at this moment.

Start downloading again

Tried this with my Debit Card but it's not working. Any way around this or do I have to buy this with a credit card?

its grey market because they buy cheap keys from economically screwed countries region free, such as russia and eastern europe. Even on steam they pay far less than we do purely down to their economy, so I fail to see a problem with taking advantage of regional pricing.

For a company as big as Valve is if was illegal they'd stop it, and have done in the cases of nicked keys etc.

All I can say is hurrah to Amazon for selling Witcher 3 for 72p last week.

Dont see Foxeye complaining this robs developers but had plenty of time to reply ! Fifa too for 72p iirc.

I think Foxeye your logic is flawed and in fact grey itself.. The keys come from in most cases the publisher if its a big title/company like EA. Or are you saying all developers, some are smaller and depend on direct sales again grey area. If they are allowing keys to be sold for £12 when other sites sell the same game for £22 why are you blaming the consumer ? Why is the publisher allowing this ? They could quite easily stop it by not allowing the keys to be sold this way. The developer doesnt get the money from their work from the consumer it comes from their employer. They get paid before the game is released, when its finished, freelance or not they get paid beforehand (in most cases) not off sales unless they have some kind of royalty/bonus scheme. Stop saying poor developers due to consumers. Its more likely poor developers due to their employers not paying them what they deserve etc.

Whats the difference in buying a car abroad because its £2000 cheaper than the one in the UK inc import tax etc. In your argument this is robbing the UK manufacturer of a sale yet it goes on. Its been like it for years and years grey imports of the PS1 as an example yet look at Sony now ?

Lets get back onto showing the deals if Foxeye wants to discuss this further create a new thread dont debate in here.

BRING ON THE DEALS !
