PC gaming is back on the high-street!

Yep, it was a genuine pleasure to work with her in the shop, but she moved to a different role building incredible gaming systems for our customers.

Game? lol Is business that bad OcUK?

We've grown year on year, and business is fantastic at the moment. Making this move bringing PC gaming to the high-street is another step for some even bigger things which I thoroughly believe our customers and GAME customers will love.

I cannot see it taking off as youngsters today are really into Console gaming. Quick and easy and no hassle or software issues or driver issues etc They just want to plug and play!!

You are clearly not looking at the bigger picture here. This is a great opportunity to initiate Overclockers UK systems onto the high street and expand.

Not really I can see this harming them.

I have been around a lot of Game stores and in everyone the staff do not have a clue about PC they even struggle with what is going on in the console world away from the known titles they are pushing.

Customer service well that is not the correct works they do not have one.

Alienware had a deal with Game look how that went.

As others have pointed out people are not interested in Gaming on a PC compared to Console which is half the price plus most people can not even maintain there own current Laptop/PC systems how would they deal with Gaming PC? This may of worked if OCUK had been buying in to Game so the businesss is changed.

have you been to an insomnia event?

when you have tripped over 500 kids all queuing to have their photo taken with some dude off YouTube you've never heard of who plays a pc game then you would think a bit differently.

Exactly. Pretty nonsense talk there koolpc, I'd say PC gaming has never been as accessible to kids as it is at the moment with the likes of Minecraft pushing it forward.

Yea, and most of the kids in my daughters year play minecraft on an ipad / console!

Look at all the big games out there. Kids play them on a console!
