As mentioned, the proposed bill states that credible evidence and testimony has been shown. So we just have to wait for the 26th for the hearings to actually begin and the evidence shown.

I don't believe intelligent Aliens who are capable of getting here but you already knew that (and that's if Aliens could ever become intelligent).
However Aliens sound more real than God but funnily enough both are a matter of faith.
 
Who sends their thoughts and prayers via aliens though whenever someone on Facebook posts about their trials and tribulations?!

This is something I frequently think. Belief in sentient, intelligent aliens is no more scientific than belief in God.

But apparently we don't need proof of aliens because probability demands they must exist? Or something. Seems like double standards to me!

I absolutely believe in Aliens, there's got to be other life out there, just don't believe it is intelligent enough to travel 1000s of light years.
 
Looks like the military (and to some extent NASA too) are restricting some evidence. The latest being congress asking the military to show them the video footage of the drones/"balloons" being shot down, only to be denied. Think about that for a sec, the country's top government officials requesting the evidence, only to be denied??

The ironic part is that congress folks are making these statements on platforms like UFO podcasts and whatnot, so as one comment says:

Same situation over here with the Covid inqury, and the UK govt fighting to have Boris's phone exchanges redacted, isn't it?
 
It'll be interesting to see some of the explanations on the thread when we're shown objects that the most intelligent government experts can't explain.

Science doesn't rule anything out. It only rules on what it knows. If something new comes in to the conversation then science changes to accommodate a never before seen technology.

Video two was reported as appearing at 80,000 feet before descending rapidly toward the sea, and stopping at 20,000 feet and hovering. Witness's said it was white and oval, hovering above an ocean disturbance estimated at 12 long. So its not a cormorant. Plus it was actively jamming the fighter jets radar as you can see in the video. Pretty sure that rules out a balloon or bird. It was seen by a Navy Carrier Strike group and two waves of fighter jets.

Maybe, but reported as and witnessed as leaves much open to questions. IMHO these videos are just as they seem. A bird flying into sore. A cormorant seems the most likely. Fast flying and looks similar in shape and movement. Could also be an alien.

The other video could just be a misidentification of a balloon.

@Pottsey is confused.

Video 2 is probably a balloon or a bird, and was confirmed to be moving at around 40mph, due to parallax effect, as the jet was moving very fast.

The thing about the 80k feet, down to 20k feet, which hovered - was from a different pilot flying a different plane, and there's never been any evidence for that (video, picture, telemetry) just the pilots statement.

The media did a really good job of conflating the two things together.

I'm just talking about the videos. No one knows what they are. They are and remain unidentified. Maybe they're a slow moving balloon and its a fast moving camera and background etc. Maybe it's some new tech. Maybe it's not.

I'm not all that interested in what people claim to see, only facts.
