Pentagon releases UFO footage

Hard to tell what it is, could be a helicopter, don't see any reason to doubt it's a drone though
lThe lights look a lot like

I saw a daytime drone photo somewhere and it looked exactly like this but with the camera not capturing the rotors

to someone on the ground it probably looks as big as a car

I did a first flight of my mini 4 pro earlier, and when its stationary in the sky even at only 40metres high it looks like its deceptively far away from the lights, and thats a drone that almost fits in your hand.

If I didn't know it was a drone I'd probably wonder what it was

Is this worse than the "Should something be done about dogs?" thread.

GD: It must be.
GD1: But this thread is nonsense as well!
GD: Hmm.
GD1: Could they both be the worst thing ever, at the same time?
GD: Clever and concise.
GD1: No, you.

Quiz time! What do you see? "Two orbs were filmed being chased by a military helicopter" or something else? /game show music

What I see is more typical hysteria nonsense drowning out the real orbs and sightings.

That's not a chase that’s 3 helicopters flying in formation with a typical light pattern. Cannot think of the right name where that style of flight with that light pattern is used. But not had my morning coffee right now to remember what the name is.

EDIT: Coffee works wonders. Formation of something like hawks with the forward anti-collision landing lights off for landing. Its a common way to fly in formation, as the anti-collision flashing is disorienting so only the rear unit has the lights on.

That's correct, 3 Blackhawks, 1st 2 with landing lights on, even the nutters on Reddit debunked this quickly

Yeah :) Actually an interesting piece of information was that when any aircraft travels some distance away and at speed 100-200 mph by the time the plane sound reaches the person recording, the sound will seem to be coming from some distance behind the original source of the sound. The speed of sound takes about 5 secs to travel 1 mile. So people may be mistaking 'silent orbs' as the delay from the speed of sound.

heres how they look during the day
Amazing what an encounter that guy had

Wonder why only the rear heli had a flashing light, maybe the other 4 were ufos in disguise

Drones are drones. Planes are planes.

"Night skies can be deceiving, many drone experts say. In the dark, there’s an optical illusion that makes it hard to tell whether an object is close or far away.

“I spent 30 years flying a helicopter in the navy,” said John Slaughter, director of the University of Maryland’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Research and Operations Center. “And I’ll tell you, if it’s 100 metres away or if it’s 40 miles away, you don’t know how far that is.”

“People are seeing lights in the night sky – that’s the only fact we really know,” he said."

Remember folks any UFOs spotted today, it will be Santa.

On a more thread worthy note, I'd love to know that there is other intelligent life out there other than us. We've made great strides as a species but not without faults.
