While being biped-centric would be silly, what our upright pose enabled is having our hand free giving rise to homo habilis ("handy man").
And hands and the ability to manipulate things is very much tied to technology.
And is possible a feedback loop involved in our large brains.
While there are clearly very intelligent species in the ocean - although the most intelligent seem to be aquatic mammals who originated on land - technology really depends on being able to manipulate your environment and in the ocean that is very limited.
 
Don't forget people, them aliens will have been a creation of the lad on the big cloud up top for he made us all I read once. :cry:
 
I find it incomprehensible that there isn't any form of life anywhere in the universe. Just the law of averages makes it impossible there aren't countless lifeforms throughout.

It's a case of whether the laws of physics makes its possible for these other civilisations to reach us, and if they are we're truly buggered.
 
We only see life based on what we have here on our planet, for all we know life could evolve in space, nebulas etc and these UFOs could be living organisms.

we are in space ,life evolved on a big rock hurtling around a sun at 67,000mph bro

it doesn't matter how big that rock is as long as it's fairly stable.

it could be a small asteroid it doesn't need to be planet sized
 
One of those solid-state zero-emission flying tictacs might make a useful vehicle, if it can be slowed down. Maybe useful for making stable Hoverboards for the kids / teens.

No they just seem to be obsessed with it a lot of them think they have been abducted by Aliens when its probably a bit of sleep paralysis.

Well loads of them believe in ghosts and religious experiences too. Something happens they don't understand and they go to culture and folklore for answers. In the past sleep paralysis would have been the devil or some kind of paranormal spirit, in the modern space age the explanation is aliens.

As a country i think we are far more rational than them also a lot more sceptical in our country if you told your mates you have seen a UFO they would probably laugh at you.
