Pentagon releases UFO footage

Interesting they seemed to be going into the water.

What makes me think it's something manmade is the height - almost exactly 20k feet. What are the odds aliens are using human measurements that are standard in aviation and sitting at exactly 20k? Sounds like a human designated altitude.

The altitude info on the video is the altitude of the aircraft, not the target.

I guess their are some people that haven’t really watched it properly he actually explains in quite a lot of detail.

Rogan was right people will do all kinds of mental gymnastics to try and explain it away. I would expect if they had witnessed it themselves that still wouldn’t be enough.

Could it be made up? Sure I guess, are military personnel really that untrustworthy? I mean the pilot wasn’t just your average pilot, he was a commanding officer, who explained that out of 6000 military personnel he was within the top 20 in the chain of command.

It’s fascinating and I also remember quite distinctly a few years ago listening to the radio when the hourly news came on, their was clip about the then Prime minister or deputy can’t remember exactly, urging the government or military to release all the information they have on UFO’s. That was the first and last time I heard that but was it related in some way? Not sure.

It was actually a former Canadian Defense Minister

This maybe of interest to some the Military Records for Project Blue Book.

The United States Air Force retired to the custody of the National Archives its records on Project BLUE BOOK relating to the investigations of unidentified flying objects. Project BLUE BOOK has been declassified and the records are available for examination in our research room. The project closed in 1969 and we have no information on sightings after that date.

Why are ufo pictures/videos in low resolution

Because they would be identified otherwise.

Clearly you've never tried filming something high up in the sky at max zoom moving at speed. It's very difficult, not something that someone's "iPhone" could capture well, as another poster suggested. You're not going to get a sharp image in 8K.

And if someone did get a sharp image it's also called a hoax because "it looks too good".

The 'aleph-zero' craft that came down around Lake Purity in the center of Australia was never found. It probably was just a fiction.

First bit is kind of weird - they don't sound like they are joking around, etc. but it kind of looks like an insect on the lens - no idea if that is actually possible.

Second segment they are blatantly joking around - no way they'd be that casual and jovial if there was an unidentified object of note in proximity until they knew it wasn't a threat.

I'm not sure why you're speculating when there's literally a full interview with one of the actual pilots, they aren't both chasing an insect on the lense. They were directed there by a destroyer that picked the objects up on radar, it was part of a training carrier task group.

Had to laugh when he was telling Rogan about the mischief he and other pilots got up to. Freaking people out who were camping in the wilderness at night, causing them to report UFOs. :D

The what?

It was an old bushmans family tale I heard from the grandson (then in his 80's) about 35 years ago.

Apparently his grandfather in his 20's and an aboriginal tracker saw a giant machine come down slowly out of the sky around Lake Purity then vanish into the ground. Grandpa told the local preacher, and they rode back out. There were symmetrical angular shapes on the ground, but nothing else. The grandpa later drew what he saw in ink on cloth, at the preachers request. The preacher named it 'aleph-zero' - which he said meant 'before the beginning'. Though the whole story is probably a fiction.

Of course, I didn't believe a word of it, and said so. The old fella got a bit agitated at that. To his credit as a yarner, he tried to push his luck by fishing out an old ink drawing on filthy stained cloth from a pouch on his belt. Anything to be consistent I suppose. I only gave it a glance, and said 'good one, mate!' (as in, good joke). I was still about 1100km away from Darwin (driving by car), heading to work there.

Yeah I joked to my misses that, that would be the sort of thing I would do. :D

Anyone watched the Bob Lazar Rogan podcast. Equally as fascinating although a little more out there.

Lazar seemed to know what he was talking about, bringing people out to the desert to watch test flights as he knew when they were occuring was pretty substantial proof i thought. There is footage of that knocking around though we're talking 1980's camera quality where it's basically a light zipping around.

Yeah I did have a quick search for it but couldn’t find anything.

I just find this so fascinating I’ve got the bug a little. Just about to watch the documentary on Netflix they were taking about towards the end.

I’ll probably end up driving my misses nuts though :D.

It was on youtube a while back, theres another video where they have his footage and "enhance" it to what they think is being seen

I'm not saying this is real the only logical conclusion is a group of x air force guys realised they could make good money with a made up a story.. I cannot see how there can be a 3rd option (with the mutiple accounts) , they are lieing or it's aliens.. They are not normal people they are the best of the best, they don't panic like you or me, we have fight or flight they have meh.. I'll see what happens cos I was told to neither kill it or run..

How many people in this carrier group have the same story as the guy being interviewed? Was anyone reading this thread there? Did you hear this story going round?

they don't panic like you or me

There is not panicking and there is following standard operation procedures, etc. if it was an unidentified object of unknown threat profile there would be running commentary/orders, organised attempts to gather more intel, move assets to appropriate positions, etc. I dunno about thinking they could make money or something but I'd wager that second segment they were messing about for a laugh (watch some of the videos of the banter/antics on air to air refuelling, etc.).

The first segment is another matter as it matches up a bit more with the kind of response you'd expect in that situation.
