People eating butter

Bulletproof coffee, done it a few times when in a pinch as I'm on pretty strict keto.
But you can feel that it's lacking in what you're body needs.

I can't imagine that tasting good at all, I dont think I'll try it.

I recall reading about people who put butter in coffee
Unsalted butter, yes.

I use this when I'm keto'ing it's actual really nice (think a very creamy coffee), filling and keeps your energy levels up nicely.

8 fluid ounces of black coffee, 15g unsalted kerrygold, 10g coconut oil. Put in a blender for 10-20 seconds and serve. Lovely. :)

The closest I can get to that is when I was a kid. I would sneak into the cupboard to get a tea spoon of butter then dunk it into the sugar pot. Weird but it was equally delicious

Ditto, as I kid I would help myself to a few teaspoons out of the sugar pot. When I was on holiday in France it was sugar cubes. I was a weird kid.

Sugar cubes was one of my things too, and like you mainly when on holiday in France. French sugar cubes were rectangular and so, in my eyes, they were far better than regular old cubes. And the wrappers had pictures on them too.

I'm more of a fan of the sunflower oil / flora spreads - much more healthier.

I shudder at the thought of eating butter straight from the tub though.

There's a thing here called "kaffeost"

Cheese you put in your coffee... It's a Lappland thing.... probably to replace frozen milk from your reindeer.

Sometimes, tho rarely, I'll do doorstep toast with thick butter too but to eat it directly with a spoon doesn't sound too tasty ....

She sounds like a keeper tho.. filthy i bet.

There was a famous 'show your desk thread' years back where someone had a tub of utterly on their desk with a spoon bodged in it

Yes! I remember that. In fact, when I first started reading this thread I thought it was an old one recently bumped. There is a forum member on here who eats raw butter straight from the tub.

We need to find him and ask about it :D

You’re all absolute monsters

I was trying to think of an apt response to the butter in coffee people, but I think that you have it covered rob.
I would add that no matter how they attempt to justify it, it’s patently obvious that they are not coffee aficionados.

Do you know anyone who does this?

Obviously people eat butter as an ingredient, but one of my colleagues asked me to get her a tub of butter from the shops while I was out - OK, no problem - but when I brought it back she proceeded to eat it out of the tub. Is it weird that I've never seen this being done before? Is it common?
can you imagine the bowel movements when she sits on a toilet with that level of lubrication going on inside?
it's probably extremely bad for your body to process it as well I'd imagine

Btw did you know margirine and the fake butters are actually grey before they dye them, actually looks like normal grease lubricant.... it pretty much is if you think about it
