PES 2009

Some of the starting line ups in the prem need a bit of work. I just had a look and fiddled around with about 5-6. Nothing major but nice to have the proper teams from the start instead of taking 2-3 mins before every game when you play a mate fixing the teams around
 
games still worthless online though, no doubt there will be no lag fix ah well R.I.P pes for yet another year
hope seabass gets the sack he's messed it up two years running
 
I'm enjoying it, i'm manily playing the legend mode, just a shame my player is taking so long to get better. But its fun online my player scored a hatrick in one legend game, a proud day :)
 
the game is better with the patch :) i don't play it online mind so i couldn't say. i used a patch for all the names and stuff as well from accesssoccer i think it was? and am gonna have a go with the chants patch later. I've found just halfing the commentary volume seems to help if you don't wanna download the chants fix

I turned off the commentary right before I played the first game. Gets very tedious after awhile: "...And a header or two" - WHAT!

Everytime I hear that commentary who use to do Serie A footy on channel 4 I straight away think back to playing PES3. Terrible commentary lines but great memories of the game
 
Lawrenson (i think?) has some belters in the game that dont make any sence, like when the keeper fumbles a shot "i wouldnt let him catch my wages", whats that all about??
 
I've still got PES6 and I no longer bother with online play. Any point in me buying this version?

I've always installed and used the Spanish commentary. So much fun when you score a goal :D

if you don't own it then may as well wait for the patch which is due in Nov, as youc an see on these 11 pages people don't seem happy, saying that you can purchase it for £17 online so it's no real hardship and is playable so why not. I'm waiting for a patched Far Cry 2 before i purchase that as i'm in no rush
 
The patch in nov will not fix the unplayable mess that is online it's just transfers and a few more licensed teams which no fan of pes cares about as we can change and have changed all that already.

Konami should call it a day now, this is the final nail in the coffin for pes they clearly don't know how to create netcode.

just played my best online match, won 5 - 0 i was the Argie Bargies and he was Barca... went down to 10 men and then ripped him apart! makes a change for me to win!

or man utd!!

i like being the Argies as there defualt formation suits me, i change tevez for some fast dude on the bench and play Messi in the AM, use Tevez in midfield, like a little pitball. i'm still minus after losing my first few games! i think i'm back to 490 now :(
