Indeed, Byram had him in his back pocket in the two games against Palace this season which is another thing, Trippier in team of the year over Byram. Not having that..

Bale turned up 2nd half of the season whilst RVP has been more consistant and has better stats to show. He has also won the EPL playing a huge role in doing so. What has Bale achieved at Spurs?

it's a little strange them giving him the young player of the year award too, i must confess.

he deserves player of the year as suarez scuppered things for himself and RVP was the finished article before he went to united.

the young player should've gone to someone else. was lukaku in the running? he's looked impressive.
