so where do you start with welbeck being included?
He's played more than Wilshere, heck he's made more appearances this season than Wilshere has in the past two, also scored 5 goals for England since June.
Not saying I would have Welbeck on the shortlist, but he is arguably more deserving than Wilshere.

I went for Bale.
To all those who voted Suarez, would you change your mind now after the Twilight Saga audition on Ivanovic or do you think that is not relevant to him being given an award.
Personally I think it is relevant, I think he's probably been the most consistent perfomer, but it's his overall conduct on the field that should count and for that reason I wouldn't vote for him.

I voted for Suarez, would I still vote for him now? No, but more due to the fickle fact that RVP is scoring again, is now the top scorer in the league and has just scored a hat trick and goal of the season in a game that clinched us the title 
Even with the bite taken into consideration though I'd still vote for Suarez ahead of Bale, I'd actually vote Mata ahead of Bale for that matter as well.

Suarez quite clearly the best, competing with the big boys being fed fantastic chances and over all superb around the pitch.
Probably RVP+Mata second, Mata stands out fairly well when the rest of the team is trash.

I'd actually vote for Bale now. Goals and assists aside, for any player to comeback from a third season ending injury in two seasons shows what a warrior he is.
