Right and?

I guess Lowton's goal is GOTS then given he's a defender in his first season in the PL?

if lowton was a consistent goal scorer and assister, maybe he would get it?

you're talking like RVP was developed at united or something? he was the finished article.

Is that the issue? The issue is who the best player in the league has been this season, irrespective of who developed them. If Man City buy Bale now (hypothetically, obviously) and he has an even better season next year, should he be discredited simply because City didn't develop him?

Edit: CM, since the award was given last night, I have not once said that Bale should not have won it - he's got a very strong argument for having been the best player in the league this season

Explain how I'm doing that?

Better yet explain why that's even relevant when discussing who's scored the best goal in a season?

For what it's worth I think Southampton would have a lot to say about who exactly helped developed Bale the most. Again not that it's an argument that's even relevant here but you know cm1179 clutching at straws again

Will you Spurs fans all cry when he leaves?

Of course they will, who else is going to score the majority of their goals??

Biggest ones will be cm1179 and this bloodzeed, who just continues to make awesome 5* star posts everytime he hits the submit reply button...

Anyhow not sure how Bale won it but meh he did, hes had a very good season and will be interesting to see if he continues it next season...whether it be at Spurs or another team. I would have picked RVP as much as it pains me to say it as an Arsenal fan but either him or Suarez should have won the award in all honesty. Suarez lost it when he went all cannibal on Ivanovic a week or so ago.
