Its pretty much a "u"-shape I found at a hardware store which I cut to the correct length, below is another picture with it unpainted, should clarify it a bit I hope.
The part I attached to the "floor" of the 5.25 drive bay area is cut from a 1.5mm aluminium sheet. Its not super nice and straight since I had to form fit it by hand, but black paint covers a lot. And that area is covered by the side panel anyways, so only visible when the case is open.
Nice work !

Curious about a couple of things, why you made the 5.25 part rather thank cut the stock 5.25 side panel and mount it and do you feel you have enough area around the base for bottom exhaust to flow freely away from case?

Thanks.

Cutting steel plates rarely turn out good (atleast when I do it), and I also wanted to keep the stock side plate if I would ever sell it or something.
The main problem with the stock 5.25 side panel is that it's a pain to remove unless you remove the entire top of the case, it get even worse if you have a radiator in the top.

I don't quite understand your other question, but if you are referring to it standing flat against the floor in the picture its just because I removed the plastic bottom part with the dust filters and attached four small wheels instead (this thing full of radiators weigh a ton!), the pictures is with the wheels detached.

Thanks.

Makes sense. :D

The stock base is rather restrictive. Instead of removing it with wheels I made a open center base with 6x 30mm castors to match base. Solved both the weight issue and the lack of airflow area. As you are using bottom as for exhaust, removing base and mounting castors / wheels makes sense. ;)

Ok thanks, yeah i think it's more aimed towards the watercooling enthusiast, i'll go for the Luxe or even the smaller Pro though it might be abit small for me as i may go SLI/Crossfire in the future, currently researching a complete new build of around £1500 and was recommended the Luxe, looks an excellent case.

Pro and Luxe are the same case with different top and front. Top on Luxe makes case taller with room for fans, has lights, and a few other extras. Check out Phanteks website for more details.

Luxe is same width, 25mm taller and same depth as Pro.
Primo is much bigger; 25mm wider, 90mm taller & 30mm deeper than Luxe. So much bigger that it can be hard to find a place for it.
Code:
     Case Width Heigth Depth
Enthoo Primo	260	650	580mm	ATX
Enthoo Luxe	235	560	550mm ATX
Enthoo Pro	235	535	550mm ATX

I decided to replace my Corsair 800d with the Enthoo Primo.
Bit of a rocky start to begin with as the first case I received was absolutely trashed. The front panel and top panel were loose and all the plastic lugs that attach to the case were snapped. So I returned it and got another.

I do like the case but damn there are some annoying bits on it. Removing the top and front panel in my opinion feels like it takes far too much effort. I always think I'm going to cause some damage.

I seem to be having a problem with the two clips that hold on the bottom front filter panel. I have literally removed this once and it wont clip back in place. I have removed the whole front panel and used force to get it to stay but it wont.

Are these clips fixable or do I need to contact Phanteks in order to get some replacement ones?

I've found the best way to click to release / click to latch is to remove the bottom 5.25" front bay cover, put my finger inside behind the cross bar between bottom panel and 5.25" bay and squeeze. Doing this instead of just pushing on the front stops the cross bar piece of case from flexing in and allows the push to release latch to work easier.

I've had no problems with my top grill.

Tried this mate, I just cant get the latches to click. Thanks for the advice though

Here is my humble attempt.
It was my first time watercooling and I am delighted in didn't end in tears tbh.
Did have a slight panic when my cpu was idling at 70 degrees, only to realise my pump wasn't running.

Excuse the potato quality.

Good job,and man monsta is huge.
How big is the rad?(360 or 480mm)?

Carried out a little mod to the bottom front panel on mine today.

A phobya rad grill I had spare, slots between the front fascia and the filter holder quite nicely. Hopefully lets a bit more air in. Wanted to get an mnpc tech grill which fits this case. But they're only available in the usa.

Just received a black Phanteks Enthoo Primo I managed to snag from the OCUK clearance section.
The outer box was a bit scraped up but the case seems fine. :)
All the clips for the covers work and there's even still plastic on the window.
Is there anything else I should be looking out for?
