Hey guys, does anyone know where I can get the long screws that came in the accessories box? Used them up on a couple of fans attached to radiators but the aerocool fans I have on the top 360mm rad don't attach properly with the screws they came with and I've used up the long phanteks ones. think they are 31mm but can't seem to find them anywhere.

30mm but can't remember what tread they are at the moment.

You can get most screws on fleabay, if you check your brand of rad that will tell you.

Thanks, didnt think to check the radiator fitting. The rain forest sells the 6-32 size for xspc at 30mm ao will grab a few of those

Thank you :)

Ah, here it is, patiently waiting for what will be put into it.

Have my build about to start a spanking Black/Green, but already finding lots of little niggles, my fault as I should have researched rad widths/graphics card lengths and tube res more thoroughly ....

I don't want to hack away at the case if I don't have to, all the little things I took for granted working seem to need a tweak, and tbh, I just wanted to throw stuff in and have it work, I know, I can dream :p

The Pump mount for instance wouldn't mount my D5 Vario with an EK-X-TOP fitted, no holes lined up

The graphics cards, went with 2x980ti's Asus Poseidon ( lazy factor ) pre installed WC, but alas fan shroud hangs over far too much and couldn't fit the Photon 270 res, so Have swapped it for a EK-RES 250 that fits with about 1mm clearance.

Rad's, hadn't paid attention to the 125max width on bottom, so the EK RX360 went back and tomorrow I should be getting a RX480 for the top and a RX240 for the bottom.

All minor niggles all self inflicted :p

Other than that, its a thing of beauty, hopefully should have everything tomorrow and can at least get it leak testing tomorrow :D

hi all, a little advice needed. firstly, what connectors do i need for the front fan leds as i cannot seem to locate what i need so i can order them and where do they connect? directly to the psu? Secondly, according to the manual, the pwm hub should not have a splitter on number one fan header and yet mine has the factory splitter installed on it (according to the numbering system in the manual).
Any help is much appreciated:D

Yeah I had a few issues, going to take it apart when I go on leave next week. For the D5 pump the holes didn't line up for me either so I zip tied to the bottom grill behind the HDD cages. To be fair it's probably quieter than it would have been on the mount.

I managed to get it all done the weekend, beautiful case to work with, will throw some phone pics up later, but it went fairly well to plan, can't complain, very cool, and quiet for the hardware and fans inside it. :D

what did you connect your front fan led's to ?? and where did you get the cables to do it?

Front fan LED's are connected to the inbuilt LED switch from the top of the case, its 2 pin led cables, you have 6 inside, all bundled up, all labelled aswell, you just need to power it with a molex cable.

Terrible pictures, sorry, David Baileys day off ....

Funny how the case on the desk dwarfs the X34 :D

How would this compare to a Silverstone Fortress FT02 for air cooling at idle with extra fans?
Its a pretty decent case for air cooling. Using a k2 dual tower on a 5820k. Idles in the low 30's, load temps in game of 64c max. Cpu at 4.5ghz. Ive changed out the stock fans though, using a mix of corsair af and sp's. All ran off a manual fan controller.

Made a few changes to mine:
Very tidy looking.:)

Well I've pretty much completed my build with the Primo ... Love the case... so much room to work. I'm disappointed in several things. My case came with the fan hub wired incorrectly with the splitter cable mounted on fan 1, there was a fan missing (rear fan), plastic lugs were broken (top and side of case), and today i just pealed back the protective plastic on the side panels for the first time to find the acrylic is far from transparent and actually has a wavy look to it. I've put up with the fan, plastic lugs and the wiring but the side panel is sending me over the edge. I have an old Antec 900-2 that has crystal clear side panels ... what's up with the Primo???
Each of these faults I found over the course of several weeks since delivery and I was prepared to stick with each of the faults ... but the side panels !!! Should I contact Phanteks or go through OCUK ??
