Cheers matey. In truth I cobbled this together quite quickly with bits from my existing system.

For all those about to build be warned that you need to pull your board power cables through before fastening your mobo down. Was a bit upset when I found I could not get the cables through lol.

That gunmetal grey looks lovely. If it wasn't for me being so obsessed with all my pc components matching I would probably go for it, but because my monitor, speakers, mouse, keyboard, etc are all black I think it would bug me that the case was a different colour.

Can't wait to get one of these, hopefully have enough for one and 2 6TB hdds next month.

I'm thinking about using one of these in her. I can't think of any reason not to, I intend to run it around the edge of the case closest to the window (where else :D ) I'm guessing there's no problem doing this? I only ask as it specifies it's for the Luxe case. I know the magnetic ones are better and there are issues with the double sided tape being weak but you get twice the length and a choice of 4 LED colours as opposed to 1 for less money.

I may still go for magnetic but I'd probably have to install 2 to fully span the windowed side, which is just more ****ing around with cables.

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to get another two hdds in the bottom also, even if just in a loose double cage, it kinda looks like there's room if I get creative with the cable management but I haven't quite been able to tell.

Much thanks,
TMS

The bottom section has space for 2 drives, Lighting is just down to personal choice.

Hi, cheers for the reply. I'm actually enquiring about the possibility of instaling a further 2 drives in the bottom, even if it's a bit messy down there just to save placing them in the windowed section. My lighting dilemma was more to do with is there sufficient width, a channel running around the windowed edge to tuck it in there, possibly problematic with the cooling tray towards the top and the shielded PSU compartment along the bottom.

You could get 4 drives in in a cage sitting end on, with the drives vertical, by taking out the 2 bay cage supports, looks doable but depends on PSU length including space for cables.

If your talking about putting 2 hdds in front of the psu you will struggle. I managed 1 just. My hdd bay is taken up with my pump so no room there for me!

Air in pipes? Air works it's way to the top, bit of rocking and cycling the psu will work out the majority through the reservoir. I tend to find air for a few days after a build. Just rinse and repeat the process and all is fine.

Nice build but how do you knpw where the air bubbles are with black tubing?

You can tell by the noise of the pump when the bubbles pass through, start stop the pump vent the pressure, give here a shake and squeeze the tubing. Once the noise of cavitation goes away you've cracked it :)
