* Lucid® LT22102 chipset allows you can use the graphics cards from different vendors. To make A-mode, N-mode and X-mode work, you need to install the software drivers we provide. If your graphics cards are under ATI 4xxx, using driver 1.3.105 will get better perfomace. If you are using ATI 5xxx, you must install driver 1.4.106. Please check the included PDF file for more information.

* For Multi-GPU Computing driver ver 1.3.105 we recommend you install NVIDIA graphic card to the first PCI-E X16 slot while running X mode
* For Multi-GPU Computing driver ver 1.6.106 we recommend you connect the display to the stronger graphics card while running non-identical A&N modes and X mode
* This message would update on web page if needed when new Multi-GPU Computing driver has any further suggestion.

found this though and the performance is nothing special, so if thats the main reason you are looking at this mobo then maybe its worth looking around.

Off topic but

The OP doesn't like being criticised I know but I wish he would learn to spell/type. For example,

orderd
potentail
evan
compund
piont
exepeerence
belive
warrenty
meen
avalable
anywere
critisise

and there are a lot more.... would make this thread a lot easier to read

and i thought my spelling was bad...
why so desperate for forum approval? you could have posted up your question easy before you pulled the trigger on this....you were talking about doing it last week in another thread...
youve jumped in again with both feet hoping to get a pat on the back.....i know very little about amd chips otherwise i would have mentioned it although i did express my concerns about hong kong ebay sellers at the time.... saying they will and actually getting your money back are 2 completely different things.....i ohh so nearly lost £550 on a 980x from america...it took 3 months of phone calls paypal, police reports, tracking numbers before they eventually paid me and for a moment i thought id lost it

Despite what we keep telling him, he continues to buy computer parts of fleabay. Surely for your first build, you would listen to very experienced people on this forum?

i buy comp parts of ebay...just not from hong kong

come to think of it most of my parts are ocuk or other shops

what i mean then is i would buy parts from ebay if they were right and seller was good ;) not everybody is out to rip people off.on a side note though the members market seems to be full of honest decent people...the service you get in there is first class :D

^^^^ cant go on the mm yet :L ^^^^
and no @vinnie@, this is not my first build i rebuild computers a lot and do a lot of repairs to earn money, im not saying im exepeerenced, but i can build computers, its not exactly hard, and believe it or not i do know a fair amount about them, but a lil hastly on small details such as phase 4+1 and mosphets and allll the cas timmings and stuff, but im only 14, and i know the basics, and will learn.
just picked up some hyperx kingston ddr3 1333mhz ram in a 4gb kit for £25

show me were i said this is your first build.......you moaned a lot about people not reading all your info in earlier posts.....you need to take your own advice

Well, speaking from my own experiences I will only ever buy from ocuk or one other etailer for parts etc.. Basically I bought a system from one of those comp fairs, thought I was getting a good deal but there was a catalogue of problems. The first being they'd 'accidentally' put a dual in instead of a quad. Good job I noticed that eh? PSU blew up due to it being extremely cheap and crap. Whole host of other problems I won't bore you with. The people were reluctant to honor the warranty or even help, trying to blame me etc. All in all, a bad experience. Of course, I was a bit 'green' with computers so I suppose in this cut-throat society we live in it's par for the course.

Moral of the story: Listen to the people who know and buy from reputable companies who care about their customers.

Cheers

cammy as for youre comment i was wrong, it was *vinnie*
and i do know whats good and whats not to a degree, but tbh i dont have money to spend paying extra for parts with the same performance, just because the other ones may not function properly, i like to take my chances

all i can do is try, it kinda sucks unless my cpu is airmailed im exepecting a delay due to the sunami and weather warnings across the pacific. but theres nothing i can do

Since you said you didn't really know much about timings and MOSFETs, there are some links below to help you.

This is something for when you want to get more technical - eg. the various parts of new CPU architectures.

Finally, I will let you in on some information. I am 14 as well, but have been interested since 8 when I found a link to Corsair's website where they had a guide to build a computer on this forum. Only been posting since 09 though.

Well you have to cut the cloth to suit imho. No point blowing a big portion of the buget on one good component and then scrimping or making severe comprimises on the rest.

But I admire your optimism, I really do and I hope it works out for you.

personally i tend to spend the chunk of my budget on case, psu and mobo as these are the foundations of a good build, the rest can easily be upgraded to suit the amount of spare money.
