indeed, but you still dont know if A) it works and B) it will unlock and OC well. i hope for your sake that you got a good chip as you could do with some luck, but dont get too excited too early.
yeah i guess, but its also a relfie after buying this chip from a untrusted ebay.
evan if it doesnt unlock its ment to overclock better sooo... and unlocked its ment to be 2-3% slower, but with 6 cores that may overclock ill be happy.
and with 4 cores that will overclock ill be happy aswell

unlocking doesnt make it slower - where's your source on that?
what it does do is reduce overclocking headroom, but this only translates into about 100-200mhz lost. For example, my phenom 555 will top out at 4.15ghz as a dual, but as a quad getting it past 4ghz is a right pain in the arse.

i dont mind how he spells as long as i can get the jist but you have to admit there are a few whoppers in there.....

well today's been a good day.
firstly my 2 WD raptors arrived, the wd360 i got in a auction for £12 +p&p
One was meant to be faulty, because the sata data transfer plastics snapped, but hte pins were fine, and my lian li rack takes it fine, so ill run them in raid0 for os and some programs.
and then get a tray less mobile rack and a 1tb hdd for data transfer.
MY motherboard arrived, i dropped it into my case and did some sata cables and tidied some other cables up, so now im waiting to sell my xbox 360 so i can buy my ddr3 dual channel 16000mhz.
I CANT WAIT!!!!
