It would be soft if it's stretched to fill the screen, it would be sharp if it has boarders on all 4 sides.

The photo shows it NOT stretched.

How do you set it to display Native in Windows and can I do it on my 17in 1280x1024 TFT?

What gfx card are you using?

I am impressed too ! lol, had no idea it can do that before i bought it, took a risk, hence the big YES when i found out that it can.

And what do you mean by Native in Windows? The native mode is on the monitor's option by hardware. Using an ATI X800XTPE.

You can also select "Filled with aspect", so that it filled the top and bottom 13 pixels proportionally. You will still get black boarders on either side (left/right) but will get rid of the tiny bit of black at the top and bottom.

Depends how fast i do it, if it's really quick, no, if its slowish, no. but a little if i really really look for it However, to be honest. It's no different when compare to my 17" 8ms TN panel Acer, since i can continue to drag it across the desktop to both monitors.

It is, and its all subjective. What i think is perfectly aceptable might not be to you, but all I can say is that it looks identical to when i drag it across my 8ms TN panel Acer.

Shouldn't think you need to since if you select Native, it'll adjust to whatever the res the graphic card is outputting (even ingame). So, put the monitor's menu option to Native, in windows environment it'll go full screen at 1680x1050, and in a 1280x1024 game, it should adjust to that res without pressing any buttons on the monitor. It'll display the the resolution it is receiving.

That's my logic anyway, Not tried it yet, could do tomorrow,

Careful opening it up and setting it up, I advice do it on the floor and not the desk. The stand is attached to the screen, and show us some picces when you set it up.

The cheapest it will be is probably the price it started at when it first got on the site, £289.99. i paid £351 inc Delivery, its now £350 without delivery so i don't see it getting anymuch cheaper.

problems with the viewing angles??? I thought it is amazing, its very even across the screen and both vertically and horizontally.

Try adjusting it in the graphic card output if you are using DVI, i honestly dont have it that bad, certainlly don't notice it when it watch movies. I don't have FEAR thou so i can't comment on that.

The problem of taking photos of a black screen in the dar is that the camera will adjust to it and will open the lens for longer, so it achieve 18% grey. And all light will be exggerated, so even a little backlight bleeds will look like the floodlights in Old Trafford.

Some Belinea owners confirm that screen suffers the same too, its to do with the manufacturing procedure/quality rather the screen used.
