Photoshop and Creative Suite to be permanently subscription based

From the FAQ:

http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/creativecloud/faq.html#pslr-bundle

I am already a Creative Cloud member. Do I qualify for this offer?

Customers who have already joined a Creative Cloud Single App membership for Photoshop at the £7.14/month level (or corresponding local pricing matching the pricing provided in the question above) will be automatically transitioned to this new program when it ships in a few weeks, with the additional benefits and lower ongoing price. All other Creative Cloud members who meet the qualification requirements may contact Adobe Customer Service once the new offer is shipping in a few weeks, to discuss transitioning their membership to this new offer.

From that it suggests you don't need CS3 but you can take out the single app membership and then transfer it to the new offer. Be interesting if it really is possible.

I think that you still have to own a previous version. I suppose that you could have taken a CC membership before the local offer early this year and owned a previous version in which case you need to speak to an advisor to get a transition. I took the local offer earlier this year and have been moved onto the new program without doing a thing.

Ah, that makes more sense :)

Hi guys,

Wondered if you knew the answer to the following question?

Does the spot healing tool in Lightroom work the same as it does in Photoshop? I.e. you can highlight an entire object by 'painting' over it and it then removes it after a few seconds of processing in the background?

Judging by this video here on the Adobe site, it doesn't seem to operate in the same way.

I really like this feature but I certainly wouldn't use all the features of the subscription based create suite, so a one off license for Lightroom would make more sense for me.

Any one know the answer the the above?

As mentioned, I'm looking at not buying anything above my needs and I've been reading up on Pixelmator & Acorn (Mac software) - anyone have any experience with these two pieces of software?

I dont know if this is of use to anyone but i DIDNT know this prior to ordering my CC subscription.

If you subscribe to CC, you also get access to everying in CS6. Which is awesome since a lot of clients dont have CC just yet.

I was having a hard time transferring timelines between CS6 and CC in Premiere, but since discovering the above, ive just downloaded and installed CS6 as well as CC.

Might be well known, but i didnt know.
