Physx is it used much ?

I don't believe you can tell to such a degree that anything below 55FPS is an issue with out an FPS counter

I can't prove it as frame-rate sensitivity seems to be largely subjective (well, depends on each person's eyes I guess), but the point where the fps drops below 55 for me tends to be when I see things becoming noticeably less smooth.

Because I not saying 30fps is what you would call perfect :p thats not the debate here. Would I want to run 30fps no if I had no choice sure.
Playing at 120fps is a massive difference over 30fps for-sure.

edit
Plus when I completed batman AC I didn't even own xfire think I had single 7950 and didn't even own 120hz monitor.

Maybe the 120hz monitor helps you, I don't know.

Looking at it as a whole if you are happy with 30 fps with physx on high and think your getting all the effects of nvidia physx then good for you.

Dont console games use some kind of effect to make things seem smoother. The original Crysis had something similar as I remember everyone on here saying how smooth it felt around 30fps which would not be the case on any other fps. Console games feel smooth enough to me. I played console only before I found pc gaming which may explain it and my original pc was very low spec so started off with low fps.

Played arkham city on my mates xbox360 and it was fine. Never bothered with it on PC as its not my type of game. Its not one of those games that needs high fps to get a good experience if you ask me.

Normaly input latency from your mouse goes up the lower the fps on PC, some games have gone around that such as Crysis 1 which IMHO did a lot for the game at the time, considering the beast of a machine you had to own to play that game(my 8800gtx at the time coughed blod). Why this behaivor is i really do not know. Hopefully someone more experienced in the matter can answer that question.

Getting all the effect on Batman AC thats I 100% know. would I play it again nope been there and done it.
Would I love to have 60/120fps sure does running it at 30fps avg ruin the fun NOPE. when I say 30fps its really between 30/40fps

Can second that tbh ^
I could notice framedrops from 100+ to the mid 60s, though that's from using a 120hz monitor and fast action games constantly :)

Doubt i could notice a difference now, spend most my time on the desktop with a 60hz screen :(

Yep they usually add some sort of blur filter to make it appear smoother similar to how interlaced video works. Input lag is the most noticeable aspect of 30fps though, it has twice the latency of 60fps. Fast moving scenes are the most obvious visually.

I dont tend to play much games on console where this would be a problem. I think using a pad also helps with this. Playing a game called war thunder on the ps4 atm. I started out on pc but prefer it on the console due to the fact you know all the other players are using a pad. On pc I used my joystick as I do in all flight games but its useless due to the fact keyboard and mouse is so easy to use for aiming. Wont ever play a flight game using keyboard and mouse.

Anyhow I think the console version runs 60fps and the visuals match the pc version so its all good.

Yeah thats what Motion blur is for. It helps blend in the frame rate to make motion look more smoother.
