Didn't realise how popular these Ikea desks are! Seems loads have them. Anyways, here's mine.

Keep meaning to sort the cables - have those tidy boxes, just haven't quite gotten around to it.

Cut a sheet of plywood down -painted it and screwed it to wall - then used the mounting hole for each 6 way or however many is on there. Both extensions plug in two double sockets.- I think :eek:

You can also use those 'no nail' stick up things from 3M that you can get for pictures. Work great for power strips too.

To be fair it is the worst case ever made, I had one back in the P4/AMD Barton days. Utter piece of ****. I would cover it up with an many stickers as possible too.

Got one of those sticks sitting in the cupboard. Apart from the rubberized texture coming off its still a great stick.

You can get LED strips on amazon/ebay for 15-20 quid. Cut to size then plug in to the mains.

That red above doesn't work for me. A soft white given the overall look would be better.

Yeah the colour is changeable and I'm not sold on the red either (white is easier on the eyes). The LED strips I have just plug into the USB port on the back of the monitor.
