I've never actually used ME. I went for 98SE for my reto PC build because I am playing games from 1997-1999. Is ME "like Windows 98" or is it "like Windows XP"?
I wanted a 4:3 monitor for playing old games (technical this one is a 17" 5:4 but whatever...), and it fits nicely on my desk with my 27" monitor. It is perfectly adequate for Windows 98SE and playing old games! The image quality really isn't too bad.

Yeah, I can't recall the name, they renamed it anyway but as far as I'm aware its all still available. Love this desk!
I remember seeing that desk when I bought mine but the website doesnt show it anymore. Its all good, I found a few alternatives which will do the job anyway so thanks
Wow. You people are so damn tidy. My desk currently has two monitors, a tea cup, 4 empty energy drink cans and 1 I'm drinking, 5 sheets of scrap paper, a keyboard and mouse, about 7 large technical books and numerous other junk on it. It looks a complete tip. I'd feel embarrassed to post pictures of it here.
On the other hand you have all made me very jealous and got me thinking about a proper set up that I could do if I replaced all of my gear that I have built up haphazardly over the years with no real attempt to make sure everything fits together.

like moving that desk leg so its not in your feet space?
i dont know how people sit at desks with so much stuff piled under them either. there are a few pictures on here recently with so much junk under them. i like to have space to move my feet / legs where i want.
no the chrome leg was put there on purpose,my legs go either side if I want to stretch my legs,as I sit in my chair my feet don't even touch the post anyways,i sit quite upright as I have back problems and my feet under the chair is most comfy for me.
yea the boxes under mine are to go back in the shed as they have all the decorating stuff and tools in them,literally only just finished decorating it having had to strip the walls back to bare plaster and re-skim the walls..ballache
needs another coat of paint on 1 wall then I can sort my pedals and wheel out.

It's not too bad tbh, i tend to rest my feet on the chair legs so that give me a bit more room. Plus I have skinny legs, so that helps.
